Huxley’s been in our program a little over a month and has had no applications.
We can’t understand why, this boy is the perfect addition to any family.

Huxley is 4 years old, red & black and enjoys taking a run or walk around the block with his people. He’s great on a leash and knows several commands.

Currently, Huxley lives with 2 cats that he tolerates well so we’d say he’s cat 🐈 friendly. He shares his toys and enjoys meeting new people and is ok with kids.

Hazelnut has been waiting longer than she should have to for a forever home 💜 Hazelnut is a 4ish-month-old mixed breed who’s full of fun-loving energy and just enjoys life 😇 Hazelnut is around 30lbs right now and will probably get a bit bigger but we think she’ll be medium-sized when she’s full grown. Hazelnut likes other dogs and can go home with dog savvy kids 🐶 Who’s ready to add this sweet girl to their family?

🆘 We are in dire need for foster homes!! 🆘

Have you considering adopting a dog but aren’t sure if you’re ready for the commitment? Fostering would be perfect to test the waters.

What does fostering entail?
GSRNJ covers all expenses and foster families are always given the option to adopt if you fall in love with your foster dog. Our dedicated volunteers will be with you every step of the way. All that is required of you, is love and patience!

What do we look for in fosters?
We prefer a home with no other household pets, but all are welcome to apply. Usually when placing a dog in foster we have limited information on them and it gives us the opportunity to learn more about the dog to place the dog in the perfect forever home. Breed experience is preferred, but not required. We really just need a safe space for the dogs to unwind and decompress while we find their forever family!
