Update on my surgery yesterday!

So this is my second surgery fixing the same thing in my right ankle. The surgeon fixed it the first time but the repair (the anchor) came loose. So he removed the old anchor and replaced it with I guess a more “heavy duty” anchor that should stay put better with all of the things I do lol

I am completely non-weight baring until the 31st and then I will be able to start walking in a walking boot. I’ll then be in the walking boot for at least 6 weeks and start physical therapy and range of motion exercises after that

Pictures from the show grounds last week. I think it’s time to measure Jupiter again 🤔 it looks like he’s trying to be taller than Jasper now. They are on flat ground here. Jasper is sticked at 15.2 hands. Jupiter looked the exact same height as him all of last year and now suddenly this??? I did string test him as a yearling to finish between 15.3 and 16 hands lol

It was Jasper’s turn to play in the snow today! ❄️❄️

They all hate riding in this snow. I guess where it’s icy and crunchy. I’ve ridden Jasper in the snow lots of times over past years and this is the first time he’s been like “ew I’m not riding in that”
