We operate solely on donations, and all are truly appreciated: https://www.gofundme.com/f/yxds95-roxie039s-place-animal-sanctuary/donate Who We Are
Roxie’s Place Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all species & breed animal rescue. Founders Chuck and Beth are lifelong Needham Massachusetts residents who moved to Texas to enjoy a quiet retirement. We found instead, an animal crisis, dogs be

ing left on the side of the road, in boxes, in parking lots, and our hearts were too big to ignore. From 2019 – the present day, we have rescued over 500 dogs. Chuck drives to the New England states every two months bringing families their forever fur babies. Although this cause is one that any animal lover would take on, this has cost more than we have raised. We have over 100 dogs right now (July 2022) for adoption. However, Roxie’s Place is beginning to expand. Up to now, word of mouth and personal Facebook Accounts have been enough. Roxie’s Place now has a Webpage, page, and TikTok under construction. Roxie’s Place needs word-of-mouth to continue and anyone looking to adopt, sponsor or foster a dog is encouraged to contact us.

She was 18. Her people, whom she loved her whole life, took her, a vaccination booklet, a leash, a collar and her belongings and took her to the Baldwin Park shelter in California.
They said they were tired of fighting with an older dog, signed papers and left, without even looking at her. 😢😢😢
When she was picked up from the shelter by a rescue volunteer, she leaned on him probably wishing it was all just an ugly dream.
That moment was immortalized by photographer John Hwang, who was in the shelter at the time.
Unfortunately, dogs love sincerely and with all their heart, with all their soul and are unable to understand that human 'love you forever' most often has an expiration date.. - until lifestyle change, until moving, until illness, until old age...
Dogs definitely deserve better people!” ❤ ❤ ❤

A place to call home.

Roxie’s Place Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3), all species & breed animal rescue. We are dedicated to saving abandoned, neglected, and/or abused animals across the state of Texas. Roxie’s Place doesn't discriminate on the basis of age, pre-existing medical conditions, or breed. Why? Because every animal deserves a loving place to call home. Since establishment in 2019, we have saved the lives of dozens of dogs and we could not do this work without amazing people like you!

Check out our adoptable dogs by browsing our photo albums! Please adopt, donate, advocate, and educate. You can make a difference!
