So this crazy bird is still out there following me around. I went out to fix a tree stand and it flew up on the ladder and kept following me up. Who’s I could have got it on film

Received a job to remove some woodchuck in Lewiston. On Monday. I set 3 traps on Tues caught one. I rest a trap there and set 3 more traps yesterday. For a total of 5. Today I had 3 wood chucks. All from the same home. They have caused some really bad damage. They dug under the driveway along the house which created a sink hole. Many holes under there garage. Hope they don’t have issues later under ther slab. This my friends is why it’s so important to removed these critters away from your home.

This has been a slow season for me. The few times I have been called I have been away and unable to help. Or the job would be so far away it would be very expensive for the customer. So I gave them names of others closer to them. Some times that pays off as I get calls from there friends that live closer to me. I’m good with all this as it has been a very busy year with other things. Also I hate trapping critters in the heat we have had.

This past couple weeks have been a bit busy catching critters 6 woodchucks so far. 5 from same place.

Caught a big male otter last Friday. In one of my beaver sets. It weighed 15lbs. I’m going to home tan this one.

It was a beautiful snow fall but a pain in the buttocks checking traps today. I cut one good size fisher track and a couple of weasel tracks hopefully I’ll catch one of them tomorrow I set three new Weasel boxes.

Was called by a biologist to help take care of a beaver problem this fall. I met up with him went over the details of what needed to be done. Was all set to go, but developed vertigo. So unfortunately I had to call and cancel me doing the job. I was very disappointed ☹️.

Did not take many photos this year of my catches, but it was a busy year. Many woodchucks and skunks. A few beaver calls. I put those off until this fall and winter. I have been helping out a pest control guy on the so called garden animals. In return I send folks his way with the removal of squirrels and mice, as well as bees and stuff

Set a few traps for a customer yesterday caught these two guys today. Two more to go, they say they have seen 4. Also a porcupine and a skunk.

Pulled my beaver traps today. I caught 2 more from this same spot. 4 traps two weeks 7 beaver biggest one was caught today 45 lbs and the littlest one wa also caught today 15 lbs. not to bad for only 2 weeks I would have left them a bit longer but I’m not going to be around next week.

Caught 2 more beaver today making 5 from this spot in one weeks time. Four checks four traps five beaver not to bad at all. Folks I’m trapping for were very happy to hear the news

I did not trap much at all this year. I was asked to set some traps to remove some problem beaver 🦫. Yesterday was the fist chance I have he’d to set the area. I set 2 traps. I was happy to see I connected with one last night. I brought 2 more traps with me to set today. The down side to this job is its a long walk in, to the area we’re the beaver are. Very small trail leading in. So to bring any time of sled to drag stuff in is not doable. Luging stuff in and out is a chore at best.

I got a call this week to trap a Porckupine. Set traps Wednesday night caught a Porckupine. I caught this big one tonight. It’s been a busy year. I had to turn down a number of jobs do to distance and time. Once I’m retired. I will be able to do a few more jobs that are further away. At this time it’s just to much to take care off after work. Thank you all that have call and given me the work.

I connected again today. Set last night on my new job and caught a woodchuck. I also caught another one at my other job. So far this months I have caught 6 wood chucks and on skunk

The phone has rung off the hook the past few months. I have had to turn some work down do to this distance I would have to travel. Right now I’m book until at least mid July.
