A little story on our name change. I’ve been contemplating on changing the name of my barn for a long time now. It’s been months of consideration. But now with the new path my equestrian journey is taking, I decided to do something that intertwined my daughters.

Both those girls are spitfires. Bold, insane and absolutely unmanageable, but in a good way. So together, we have come up with the name Wildflower Farms.

Each of us is like a wildflower. No matter where life takes us, or what hand we are dealt with life, I want them to choose to bloom. With the unexpected closing of my business, I almost forgot to do that, so this is the next step in my journey to show them they can regardless of their circumstances 🌸🌼🪻

After much consideration, I'm sad to announce that Cripple Creek Ranch will offically be an end of an era. We are no longer offering boarding or lessons. The damages from hurricane and personal troubles with insurances have made it impossible to overcome these obstacles.

I'm grateful for the friendships, and memories shared with all of you. It's been an honor to watch these riders grow.

With this being said, we also will no longer be operating our rehab going into 2025.

As for our page and our resident horses, we will be undergoing a name change, and will be focusing more on my personal riding goals, and my children’s riding goals. (Yes, stay tuned for Brantley wanting to get in the saddle)

I want to thank everyone for the contributions they have given me as I was able to live my dream. It would have never been possible without the love and support!

SOLD

Saffron (Panthalassa) 7 year old 15.2 TB. Has a puppy dog in your pocket personality and is very gentle. She’s started over fences and has done local shows up at 18”. Currently being ridden by an intermediate 9 year old and a professional.

Same horse on and off property but still green. Potential to go in any direction. Loads well, stands in the cross ties, a dream for the farrier and vet.

Emery and Kaelynn both had a fantastic weekend at Fox Lea Farm! It was a nice show to end the season. I cannot wait for the banquet in December! 😍😍

Tonight, I say goodbye to a piece of my life, a symbol of my sweat and tears, and a testament to my students hard work.

I can’t help but think of the dreams it made reality, the laughter it echoed, and the lessons it taught me. Every beam and nail held a story, every board a memory.

Tearing down this barn isn't just demolishing a structure, it's dismantling a part of me. Yet, even in its upcoming destruction, I find solace knowing its legacy lives on in my heart and the memories my boarders, and my lesson students created together.

Picked up a new alfalfa block for the horses!!

They are coming back home today, and I could cry tears of joy! Though I am still so thankful for our new friends at Flatwoods Equestrian Center, I truly missed having the horses at home.

Barn demo starts tomorrow!! I’m also so thankful to the amazing guys that are coming to take the rest of the barn down.

The insurance adjuster just left and I think I feel pretty good about it. He made a lot of comments about how bad the barn is. So I’m hoping that means the insurance will help. He said we should have an answer back and a maximum of two weeks.

Amazing weekend at Fox Lea Farm, as always! We weren’t sure if we were going to be able to attend the show due to the circumstances of our farm, but thankfully the barn we evacuated to joined in on the fun. So, we had a sister Barn show weekend !!! Thank you Flatwoods Equestrian Center for being such an amazing support ❤️

Now that the water has gone down enough to drive to the front of the property, We will be starting the demo on the barn tomorrow. We are looking for volunteers and anybody that would like to lend a hand to come salvage what we can from the barn, and then tearing down the rest.

The water was so high that our whole well system floated away. Had to purchase all new stuff to get it set up. Thankfully the water is going down pretty quickly so we were able to get a project done. Hoping in another week we will be able to schedule a clean up/demo barn day. Thank you again for everyone who has shared and supported us ❤️
