Rescue found.
Help Humane will be taking her in and on to a better life.

Rescue placement needed. DECLAWED and living on the streets in Lawson.
Location: Lawson Missouri but will transport to kc area to get her out of the cold and safe. She is declawed and living on the streets. Abandoned and is being fed but unable to go in the house. Posts were put out for 3 weeks to find the owner and no takers. Need to find a soft place to land. She was definitely an indoor pet until recently and is cuddly and welcoming to pets. Trying to make arrangements to bring it to feral cat camper until accommodations are made for a better place. Dangerous to be running the street without front claws. Too cold to be outside in a makeshift house. Unknown on vetting. Thank you for looking. Let's find this girl a place indoors. Sorry pics aren't better.

Pupdate...
3rd dog has been located, trapped and is now back to her owners. It is not injured. She was cruising the town of Polo and stopped by the Panther. Thanks to Regena and all of the other volunteers that have assisted in searching.

Hideaway Lakes residents and surrounding areas. Please look out for a Keeshond. 3 went running at large yesterday. With help of friends we have 2 but one is still unaccounted for and they never usually separate. The 2 we now have are both injured. Looks like a machete wound on the head of one and unknown injuries on the other and possibly several bite wounds. They had a rough go and are friendly. I believe owner willing to sell 1 or 2 for 50$ each to me and so may be seeking rescue assistance for placement. If the 3rd pup is seen please call 913-915-4208 asap. Most likely it is injured as well. They have run on Eagle creek and Fawn park so those with property on North side please check your yards and easements. We will be searching the abandoned properties.

Thank you to Coleen for fielding a billion and 2 questions on the fly. Thanks Bev for the pet heater that is saving them from a 20 degree trailer. I believe these hairy guys are spoken for by a rescue. Thank goodness cause they are cute but babies aren't my thing.

Got done with winter improvements for the ducks and chicken just in time because it's snowing now. At least will provide a wind break while I add on more. Also a few Thanksgiving pics and mostly its furry things eating but makes me happy to see it. I never made a post but I am truly thankful for all that have helped us along the way. I just got a few delivered gifts today from Amazon for the Santa list and we have started sorting and organizing and hope to do an updated pic soon. It's going to be fantastic for all impacted by your generosity. My Thanksgiving meal was a frozen pizza by choice. Thank you so much for caring about my small piece of the world because thanks to many that have seen us and stepped in to help. We couldn't have done as much without you.

So we have been collecting some new and some gently used (but look great) toys and stuff just to put at least 1 or 2 wrapped Santa gifts under the tree for as many kids as we can this year. Feel free to let me know name and age etc if you know of a child that would benefit from a toy or two extra in Hideaway. We may have enough to give a few in Polo or surrounding areas. Poor is poor so we can share with a few places even if not in Hideaway if we can.
If you want to help or know of a kiddo in need, please hit one of us up and we will do our best to get them something.

Happy Birthday to the one who started it all by helping a dog in need, Tif StClair!! No animal is too big or small, mean or nice, clean or stinky, for this animal loving warrior to step in and save it!! Anyone who knows her is well aware how much she cares for others, and is always willing to offer a hand! Tif has driven many miles, gotten in some dirty situations, and opened her door to numerous animals since starting this journey. Tif is our power house, boots on the ground, always helping the community. When encountering very emotional neglectful situations we have seen Tif continue to be persistent and ALWAYS find a way to make things happen! Please help me take a minute to shout from the roof tops, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TIF!!

A few Pitbulls at least on 1 dog 1800 block Eagle Creek. Got a shot off and it broke up.Too far away to see what dog was at the bottom of the pile. Pretty sure something was injured just by the sounds it was making. Reach out to 913-915-4208 if you find an injured dog please.

Is there anyone near Polo Missouri that has a live trap large enough to catch an adult rottweiler. There's been a few sightings and we've tried to catch her. But we've not been successful so far.

Happy belated birthday to Gma Barb. Your property has been a safe haven for several animals while they were getting vetted and into rescues. When we had some rescue ducks needing a soft place to land you opened up those big Gma arms and took in 3. When another duckie was the sole survival after an attack here at the lake you added him in to your group as well. Thank you for hosting dinners and meets so we can all get fat and sassy together. We love ya grandma!! Thank you for helping us save so many. You are an amazing duck mom and an awesome Grandma to all.

Oh no! Dickie has ring worm and is being treated with antifungal cream. Compared to the usual issues out here I am thankful it's a relatively easy fix. Poor dude. No sign of issues with the roomies but he is gonna hate quarantine.

It is never my intention to negatively impact any other resources. I am just a poor person trying to fulfill some needs out here on the limited income I have. I won't always get this stuff perfect, but I am trying very hard to do what I can in a place that others would have already given up on. If anyone has some time to walk me through or help us to get the 501c3 that would be wonderful. In the meantime I will be trying to file as a non profit status. Trying to make a difference is not always a feel good and fulfilling adventure. Just remember the person you shred verbally may already be having a bad day, or a bad week, or a bad month. Please be kind.... because sometimes barely hanging on is the best they have to offer at the moment. We are all in this fight together.

Thank you to those that have reaches out. We are good for these homes in need now. Flea meds now on board and dewormer and gave a couple days worth while I find some. 2nd request is 5 Pyrenees. Any extra you have would help a lot. My extra is going to 6 others that are abandoned or do not get enough and eat in my driveway.

Electric fence around the cat house is finally functioning. Dickie is riding Grandpa Greyson like a bull. I caught Catastrophe in a trap and she is now back in our rehab cat home. Still looking for Heide. Yella the sick kitten is better and not spicy anymore. We were given 3 chickens (hanging from rope by thier feet) yesterday but we did not have a suitable structure for them built yet so Robert R. added them in to his bunch and they are doing great. The rescue ducks at Gma B's are thriving as well. Oh... and the bees have moved on except for a few stragglers.

PUPDATE: Owner found. I treated her with capstar. We have offered to try and get her looked at by a vet. I am still waiting on the response. Senior dog has been running the lake for 2 days and had given up and was laying in the water. Had been called in by 3 people saying she looked like she was trying to find a place to die. She was extremely neglected has many open wounds, tumors and fleas. We also believe she is completely deaf and eyesight is limited. Right now we have her on a stray hold so if it looks familiar to you please call us at 913-915-4208. She is in a kennel and is eating and drinking and enjoys treats. She will feel loved here and we will do the best we can since we are aware rescues are all full. She may pass on her own but we may have some hard decisions coming soon for her. We will got a miracle for this old gal.

So I had shaved Doc because he had several tumors that I was needing to get a better look at. He went to the vet today and is having some removed and biopsied. He is 11 yrs old (I think) and so with the surgery and option to know if it is cancer it's a bit more than what I can do so if anyone I able to assist a little bit once we find out if it is cancer he may be trying to get help from several other places for life extending care if necessary. We will cross that bridge when we find out for sure.

I would like to give a formal shout out to some wonderful people that I consider friends. What we have done in HAL is a drop in the bucket compared to what they have done in 8 years. They have given our kitties a few rides for sure and thanks to them 8 billion kittens have not had to be born on the streets homess and scavenging for food. I am blessed to walk among a bunch of fighters for those that hide, remain unseen starving, neglected, injured, or passed by from the rest of the world. We see them.. and they trap, transport, vet and save so many. Thank you all for what you do daily for the animals and not for the glory of recognition.
The van alone shows their strength and dedication to what they are doing. I am proud to be a part of such an amazing group of individuals.
