Dennis, our girls and I moved to Polson in 1998. This gave me the opportunity to pursue my lifelong dream of working with dogs. At that time, I became Hellroaring Kennels. I had a small boarding service, offered private and group training sessions. My boarding program supplemented my small breeding program of which many of my pups went on to become service dogs. I worked with nonprofit organizations, This Able Veteran in Carbondale IL and Dog Tag Buddies in Billings MT. It was my honor to provide puppies and to work with those organizations in that capacity. Dog Tag Buddies gave me the opportunity to work directly with veterans and to coach them to train their own dogs. Fast forward to 2 years of Covid and a personal illness I took a hiatus in order to take care of myself. I am no longer Hellroaring Kennels. I do not board dogs, or breed dogs thus no kennel. Here it is four years later, and I cannot give up my lifelong dream of working with dogs. I am continuing to serve the community with several other services related to man's (& woman's) best friends. I have spent the past two years taking an intensive course in Gestalt which is a trauma informed program in order to serve others to live a more complete life. With my dogs as partners, we are now known as Hellroaring Coaching for Dogs and Their People. I have developed a comprehensive program designed to create a closer human animal bond through communication.
Please check out and like my new Facebook to be in the know of what I will be offering in the near future.

I love poinsettias, however I avoid them during the holidays. The white sap is somewhat toxic to animals. Not as bad as I once thought, nausea and vomiting can occur but isn’t necessarily deadly. Just thought you might like that tidbit of information since the beautiful plants are everywhere this time of the year.

These little Turkeys have already eaten, pooped, rearranged the furniture, spread the litter around on the flour and settled in for a morning nap. The one on the end wouldn’t even pick his head up for the photo. Sheesh 🦃

These guys are now 6 weeks old and still in the Primary Socialization period and going into the stage of rapid learning. They are putty in your hands to condition & train them in the right way to develop the pup into the best dog it can be. I’ll be doing evaluations next Saturday at 7 weeks.
Do to a turn of events , there are a couple available after 8 weeks.
If you’d like to learn more about them, text me at

Thank you to Desert Mountain Broadcasting for the interview this morning. Special thank you to Hollie Koenigsberg and Zulu and Kristie Barone and Tomahawk for braving the crowd. We had the opportunity to talk about women who serve. Veterans and those who are active duty come in all shapes and sizes. Remember, women serve, too!

Happy Veterans' Day! Thank you all for your service and sacrifice.

Primary Socialization Period 3-7 weeks.
•Can use all senses fully, regulate body temperature and walk.
•Puppy begins learning from good experiences(ie positive reinforcement).
•Learns species-specific behaviors
(Biting, chasing, barking, Ect.).
•Learns from littermates & mother not to bite too hard.
•Learns how to play with other dogs.
And no, this video isn’t in slow motion. I just changed the bedding and they were on a household experience. It’ nap time now.

September is National Service Dog Month.

1) A service dog is considered medical equipment.
2) Service dogs are trained to mitigate a specific disability or provide assistance with activities of daily living that the handler cannot do on their own.
3) While they are loved, they have a very important job.
4) Not all puppies will grow up to be service dogs.
5) People who use service dogs are given access rights as a result of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and state laws.
6) Service dogs save lives!

I am posting these 2 liver and white male Brittany Spaniel puppies for a friend. They will be ready to go Easter weekend. Our friend has a bird outfitting business east side of Mt. If you hunt birds you know that is a great bird hunting area. These pup’s parents are good, very good hunters. He breeds and raised them himself and gives his pups a great hunting foundation. He just happens to have one available. Dennis and I are going over next week end and could bring the pup back as far as Polson.
Call Pete 406-423-5332 for more information.

Kid tested, trainer approved.
I’ve been raising puppies for service dog, emotional support and the best companion family dogs for over 20 years now. My line just keeps getting better and better. If you’ve ever thought you would like to have a Karen Duty dog, now is the time. My pups are always spoken for before they are even born. As it turns out, I currently have some availability. They’ll be ready for new homes in two weeks.
