Are you ready for some ridiculous cuteness??? We have five pitty pups ready for new homes. Clockwise left to right are Beamer, Jag and Porsche. Boy, boy and girl. These babies are 4 months old, spayed and neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. They are learning by leaps and bounds in their foster homes and have the nicest personalities. Aston and Mercedes are also available and will be featured in a separate post.

Mama Noel, who raised 5 lively pups that were all adopted in December, found her forever home this weekend. This girl is pure gold and her new mama is absolutely in love with her already. We are so happy for her and her new family and wish them happiness🩷

Tiny Brittany was adopted last week. Her new dad splits his work time between two locations and needed a portable friend that could travel with him. Sassy Brittany, all 2 and 1/2 pounds of her, captured his heart when they met and off she went to her new home. She is settling in very well and is ruling the house🩷

Our special little Aussie Athena, now named Orla, is settling in to her new home. Orla was a shy, nervous girl, but her new parents felt that they had the time and patience to help her grow and flourish, and indeed it looks as though this was the perfect placement for this girl. We sure are happy for this little beauty and her new family❤️

DON’T LET YOUR DOG RIDE IN AN OPEN TRUCK BED

An estimated 100,000 dogs die annually as a result of being transported in the bed of a truck!

Please note…that number only reflects fatalities. An even larger number are severely injured due to this practice.

Open truck beds do not provide any protection from the weather. Hot sun can heat the metal floor of a truck bed enough to burn a pet’s paw pads or skin. Additionally, a dog left sitting in the broiling sun without water or shade may suffer from heat stroke in a very short period of time.

While many dogs appear to enjoy the wind in their faces, airborne debris, dust particles and other irritants can cause significant damage to a pet's eyes, ears and respiratory passages.

Do not leash or tie your pet to any portion of the truck bed. Many dogs have been strangled when tossed or bumped over the side of the truck and been left helplessly dangling. Be it the result of a collision or simply an unexpected attempt to jump from the vehicle, tying you dog to the truck is a dangerous practice.

If your dog must ride in the back of the truck, put the pet inside a crate that will give it some protection from the wind and weather. Tie the crate SECURELY to the walls of the truck bed so it cannot slide about or be tossed out of the truck.

Zenith is settling into her new foster home great. She’s the perfect medium size dog at around 25 pounds right now. She is a little thin so probably 30-35 pounds is her ideal weight. She’s super sweet and loves people. She’s good with other dogs, and cats. She is crate trained but does not enjoy it and voices her opinion at times. She is house trained, and good on a leash. She absolutely loves people and will be her persons shadow. We believe her to be a terrier heeler mix of some kind. She is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. This adorable young man is still looking for his forever home. Ronald is about 6 months old and weighs 10 pounds. His breed mix is a mystery but guesses are chihuahua maybe with some minpin or rat terrier? He is 10 pounds of cuteness - shy with strangers but warms up in no time. He is an active young man but definitely a lap companion. If you have a lap that needs filled maybe he is the guy for you.

Welcome Gilbert. This adorable chihuahua mix is around 1/2 years old and 10 pounds. He’s a huge snuggle bug and is looking for a lap he can snuggle up in until the ground no longer hurts his tiny little feet. 🥶 He is crate trained (he much prefers to be with his person) he is working on house training, and does well on a leash. He is good with other all small dogs and most big dogs. He doesn’t really understand that he’s only 10 pounds though. He currently enjoys harassing the resident pit bull in his foster home. Do you have an open spot on your lap and in your heart?! Ben here is ready to fill that void. Ben is loveable senior at around 10-11 years old. He’s pretty thin right now and weighs about 11 pounds. Ben is looking for a warm quiet spot to live out his retirement years. He’s good with other dogs, although doesn’t really enjoy the craziness of the resident foster puppy. He’s good with cats, he’s crate trained but of course would much rather sleep in bed. He enjoys a good afternoon nap next to the fireplace (don’t we all.). This adorable girl is Sadie, she’s approximately 3 months old and weighs 10 pounds. She’s some sort of mix breed, shepherd mix possibly. Whatever she is, she’s insanely cute! She’s not quite house trained but working on it. She’s also nearly completely crate trained. Smart girl who loves other dogs and is full of puppy energy. Bubba has landed safely in the arms of his Montana foster. Pictures do not do this handsome boy justice. He has the most uniquely beautiful coloring and those ears 😍. Bubba is just shy of a year old and around 50 pounds. He loves people and other dogs, big and small and appears to be ok with cats. He’s mostly house trained and great in a crate. He’s most like shepherd husky mix of some kind. He’s young and energetic and would make a great adventure partner. Bubba is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Athena is a spayed female one and a half year old mini Aussie. Athena came from a backyard breeding situation and was six months old before she found a home. Because she didn’t receive proper socialization as a puppy, Athena had some issues to overcome, and unfortunately her owner worked long hours and did not have the time to spend with her. Athena was surrendered in hopes that she would be able to find a home that would be able to work with her and have time to help her reach her potential. We are looking for a working dog savvy home, one that has the time and patience to work with the is little girl. Athena is a gorgeous girl, absolutely nonaggressive and very sweet and shy. In the week that she has been with us, she has become very comfortable with her two caregivers. She loves other dogs so a home with canine siblings would probably be ideal. And Alvin is off to Canada!! Alvin, one of our chi cross pups, caught the eye of his adoptive parents who happen to live in Canada. Fortunately they aren’t too far away and made the trip across the border today to meet him. It was love at first sight for all and Alvin drove off with his new mom and dad and canine sister. We have been told they have all arrived home safely and are in the process of settling in as a family🩷

This wiggle butt named Sammie was adopted this week. Sammie would have been a fail for her foster mom and would not have left her home had she not found the perfect home for her. Sammie deserves the best and we believe we have found just that for her. A mom who is retired and wants nothing more than to live her life with Sammie right by her side. Sammie will be missed but we are crying happy tears for this sweetheart🩷

Merrick going on a morning errand run with her foster mom. She’s such a good girl. House and crate trained. Good with other dogs. Loves everyone she meets. Not a fan of the current weather trend, but who is???? Oh and not a fan of cats or should we say cats don’t enjoy her enthusiasm……
Let’s find Merrick a home in 2025. Such a deserving girl.
