Under the guidance of Tim Leuzarder and Sam Kaplan, riders compete throughout the Northeast and nationally.

Quick but super fun trip to Smoke Rise for the 3’ today! Elin and Braveheart were 1st in the M&S Medal and had great trips in the Children’s Hunters ending up Reserve Champion. Sara Pollack joined us for the day (thanks for letting us pinch hit for you! Teamwork makes the dream work!) and was Champion in the Adult Hunters, 1st in the Classic and 2nd in the M&S Medal. Great riding ladies!

This past Thursday, CS took a quick but successful trip to Gardnertown Farms! Harper & Ti Amo had great rides in the Children’s Ponies, with a 1st in the M&S Medal! Cate and Chestnut Street’s Reniero finished the Low Adult Hunters with a 2nd in the M&S Bit O’ Straw. Elin and Braveheart were 1st in the THIS medal and 2nd in the M&S medal. Congratulations everyone!!! Next up, HITS Saugerties!

A long but great horse show day at Smoke Rise! Cate and Reniero were champion in the Low Adult Hunters with two blues over fences and a win in the hack! Harper and Ti Amo had great rides with a 6th in the M&S classic and a 3rd in the medal at their first show of the season. Elin and Braveheart rounded out the day with a first in the M&S 3’ medal. Thank you Carey for all your help, and Keira and Alana for your support! Congratulations everyone!

We are excited to welcome Carey Masson to our team as Chestnut Street’s assistant barn manager! Though she’s been a part of the CS family for some time now, we’re excited to have her officially join us. Carey brings years of horse experience from her work at a therapeutic riding program and her time as a veterinary technician! We are so thankful to have Carey at Chestnut Street!

Happy retirement Booji!! You have been part of this crazy horse world of ours for 7 years and we watched you for much longer! From the colicky nights to the champion ribbons, rowdy turnout times and your loud “I’m tired” whinnies. You have certainly taught your fair share, had your fun, and certainly earned the respect of everyone who had the privilege of sitting on you!! We hope the trail rides are as long as the grass!! Thank you for being you we will miss you more than you will miss us!!

Congratulations to Elin and Braveheart on a 10th place finish in the M&S 2’6 Children’s Medal Finals!! The pair also finished first in the competitive Hudson Equitation Classic with a score of 80! We are so proud of this pair and all their hard work this season, great job and congratulations!

Congratulations to all of our riders on a successful week at HITS Week 5! Great rounds, results, and ribbons were had by every pair. We could not have done any of it without the help of our amazing riders, parents, and horses! A huge thank you to everyone involved, and congratulations again to our riders and horses!! Now onto Week 6!

Another sunny day at The Ridge! Rea and Rienzi started the morning with a champion in the schooling hunters, while Natalia and Nice rode to 2nd and 3rd place finishes in the 3’ hunters!

Charlotte & Balou Berry and Elin & Braveheart were champion and reserve champion respectively in the low children’s equitation, each finishing with two 1st places!

Harper & Ti Amo closed out the day with great trips in the low children’s hunters!

Congratulations to everyone on great riding - now onto HITS Saugerties 5 & 6!

Congratulations to the Mcandrew girls on a great first show with their respective partners! Charlotte and Balou Berry took champion in the low children’s equitation with a clean sweep as well as a 4th in the M&S Medal, and Harper and Ti Amo had great rides in the low children’s hunter ponies to finish with two 2nd places and two 3rd places! We are so proud of these new partnerships, and we are looking forward to the rest of the summer with all of our riders! Great job girls!

Our riders braved the June cold snap to compete at Sussex yesterday! Dasha and Calgary had their first show together, finishing as champions in the low children’s hunters! Anna and Reniero rode through the wind tunnel, winning the first class of the low children’s hunters and having solid trips in the rest of the division. Natalia and Nice had great rides in the Suitable hunters, and Bec and Metro rode to a win in the adult medal! Congratulations on good riding, despite the winter weather!

Elin and Texas took on their second show in two weeks, finishing Smokerise today with a blue ribbon in the M&S Medal and the low children’s equitation flat! Congratulations on a good day and great riding!

Elin and Braveheart took champion in the low children’s equitation and won the medal, and Anna and Reniero had great trips in the low children’s hunters with a win in the Bit of Straw! A beautiful spring morning (and afternoon) at On Course today! Anna and Reniero finished their first ever show together with a 1st over fences and 3rd in the flat in Modified Rider! Elin and Braveheart were champion in the Low Child/Adult Equitation, and Rea and Rienzi took champion in the Suitable Hunters! Congratulations on a great day, and a special thank you to Carey for all your help!

Great job to our riders on their first outdoor excursion of the year! Both Anna & Reniero and Alana & Ziva had their first ride off property with their partners, and stepped around like rockstars! We can’t wait to see all of our riders in the ring this summer!
