We need to stay vigilant and not feed raw diets.

Ten cats in Colorado, including some indoor-only pets, have died of avian influenza recently, and another infected cat survived, according to state Agriculture Department officials. Happy Year of the Snake! As a veterinary clinic, we see snakes regularly. Below 👇🏻 is Calypso, and her set-up. Calypso is a Corn Snake aka Red Rat Snake. She was adopted by Charity Clark in November of 2023. Calypso is presumed to be female.

Did you know that snakes have a great sense of smell and taste and can “see” heat?

Snakes like in every continent except for Antarctica.

Snakes do not have eyelids.

Snakes are boney! They can have up to 1200 bones. Adult humans have only 206!

Coconut came in today dressed to impress for his annual wellness and preventative visit. He is now all up to date! His favorite part of the visit was getting head scratches by Tracie. Coconut enjoys Cheese and Bacon flavored Kong Filler during appointments. He booked a dental preventative, assessment, and treatment appointment before leaving the office. He appreciates having a clean mouth and wants fresh breath for kisses for the upcoming valentine's holiday.
