In the spirit of , today Dr. Bowman and the team at Pioneer Vet Clinic donated $500 to the Evans Children’s Academy of Performing Arts in Ponca City. The Academy provides opportunities for children to get involved with live theater in the community. The check was presented to Amy Wilcox in conjunction with the Evans Children’s Academy.
is a day where people can come together and make a difference in their community. The staff at Pioneer Vet Clinic has enjoyed participating in this day of generosity and we wish all of you a holiday season filled with joy, kindness and good cheer.

Every year, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving is known as a national day of giving. Pioneer Vet Clinic is getting into the spirit by donating to the Rikki’s Market 4th Annual Toy Drive. The toys will be distributed to several local families in need this Christmas.

Happy ! The staff at Pioneer Vet Clinic recently donated items and packed 11 boxes for Operation Christmas Child, a project through Samaritan’s Purse that collects shoebox gifts filled with toys, school supplies and hygiene items — and delivers them to children in need around the world. The boxes were collected by Ms. Ginny Veal for Ponca City Assembly.

Atlas the sulcata tortoise came to visit Pioneer Vet Clinic earlier this week. Also known as the African spurred tortoise, sulcata tortoises are docile creatures with personalities described as fun and courageous. Many owners say their behavior is similar to dogs. They can live up to 100 years and often grow to be 100lbs. How cool is that?!
