My furry niece Sable has some 4th of July advice! More dogs run away during 4th of July than any other time of the year! Most dogs do not like fireworks! To keep them safe this weekend we recommend when it’s time to go out to potty make sure they are on a leash or in a very secure fenced yard. I try to go when it’s still light out before the majority of booms start, and then late after the booms have stopped. I have my tv or radios playing loud to help cover the sound of the booms, if you have a basement it may be best to keep fluffy down there to help with the noise. Medication can help with fluffys anxiety, a vet can help with that! I hope everyone has a safe 4th!

12 days till our wedding! I will be off starting the 24th- june 5th. The forecast was correct! We got quite a bit of snow! I will be taking another snow day for tomorrow! The dogs are loving running through the fresh snow chasing the tractor up and down the driveway. Everyone stay safe out there!

Update! And question for you all! Some of you already know, I have moved! The salon is still in the same location though. I’m in the process of revamping to make it more of a “salon” feel, what was once my bedroom in now a kennel room! Now here’s the dilemma… since I don’t live there anymore it is inconvenient to be away from home the hours that I have been keeping, I have been taking 5-6 dogs a day throughout the day starting at 10 and last appointment being at 6, I’m away from home 10 hours some days! I’ve toyed with different scheduling ideas, doing 10-2or3 or 1-6 different days of the week, continuing to do one on one, or since I have kennels to keep dogs in I could have a couple people drop off at the same time and pick up at a later time working on multiple dogs at the same time like some salons do. What are your thoughts!?!
