Does anyone have any information regarding this situation?
I'm thankful our community stood up for Hardhide! It's all a matter of opinion, but so many of us agreed that she was not properly taken care of.
Does anyone know if they truly intend on putting her down..?

Such a smiley girl!
We were wondering, does anyone agree that we should get a surveillance camera or two for miss HardHides enclosure? Just something to ensure that if someone throws rocks at her or tries to poke her with sticks, we'd be able to hold them accountable. This idea was mentioned a few months ago, but with covid, things got pushed back. Let us know what you think about this idea! And feel free to share! 🐊

Miss HardHide is loving this warmer weather today! Y'all go out and pay her a visit while she's out and basking on this beautiful day! 💚🐊

Hey y'all! Just wanted to remind the community that, although it may not look like it, Miss HardHide is nice and warm in her enclosure! The water running into her space is nice and warm. Soon we hope to get some signs up by her enclosure, or maybe even add some plants and things, but that's all in the works! We also wanted to remind everyone to bring their critters inside! If you have outside dogs or cats, bring them in tonight, none of us southern folk are use to this chilly weather. Stay safe and stay warm!

Also if anyone has any concerns at all, we're more than happy to listen!

Did you know? :

Alligators are large reptiles, members of the order Crocodylia. Alligators and crocodiles are, therefore, closely related, and people often confuse one with the other; however, these two reptiles are very different.

An alligator is distinguished by its wide, rounded snout and black color. Also, all of its upper teeth can still be seen when its mouth is closed. Crocodiles, on the other hand, have narrow, pointed snouts, a grey-green color and only the fourth tooth on the lower jaw can be seen when the animal's mouth is closed, according to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
