🏡 Weekend/Overnight Sleepovers: Take a furry friend home for an evening or a weekend! Provide them with a cozy environment, love, and a chance to unwind. It's a win-win – they get a break, and you get a furry companion for the weekend! 🌈🐕

🌆 Hounds on the Town Outing: If you're short on time but still want to make a difference, try our Hounds on the Town program! Take a shelter dog out for a short adventure or an entire afternoon of fun. It's a fantastic way to provide valuable experiences and socialization! 🏞️🐾

Ensuring your pet's collar tags are up-to-date and getting them microchipped are the best ways to ensure they return home quickly should they go missing. We offer free microchip clinics every Friday from noon to 2 p.m. or give us a call and schedule an appointment at (208) 265-7297.

Implanted microchips are small and painless, and serve as an important security measure to help ensure that a pet is returned home, even if a collar and tag are lost. They are not a GPS tracker but instead contain contact information for the pet’s home. Veterinarians, shelters, and animal control professionals are able to scan these chips and track down each pet’s registered owner.

Today, BTAA got a visit from Lindor, who was brought to us as a 12-week old puppy with a broken femur, a broken rib, and a large hematoma on her belly. Now, she's three years old and loved by the most wonderful family. She stopped by the animal care center to spoil our team with treats for the humans (she had help from her people) and to give us lots of tail wags and love. Thank you Lindor, and happy tails!
