Don’t forget that when you’re walking your dog during the warmer months, they don’t have the same protection on their feet that you do! 🌞🐶

Make sure to check the temperature before you head outside. If it’s too hot, keep walks short and stick to grassy areas. Do your best to take long walks during the cooler parts of the day such as early morning or evening. 🌙

If your pup has cracked or damaged paws from exposure, consider a paw balm, like Mushers or Bag Balm to help moisturize, heal, and protect paw pads. 🐾

Meet Pebbles, previously known as the escaping beagle! Living up in Atlantic Beach close to highway A1A is a scary place for a dog to run free! While her backyard is completely fenced in, she would sneak out the front door when the little children or family would leave. Simply installing our MB1 indoor unit near the front door, was able to stop that behavior in half an hours time. Now pebbles and her family are safe and happy again. 🐾🐶🐾

Here are the common signs of heat stroke in dogs and how to prevent it. 🐾

Heat stroke, or hyperthermia, happens when your dog’s internal temperature rises above their normal 103°. A temperature of 106° results in heat stroke and anything over 107° can mean organ failure and even death.
