Earlier this week, our clinic got to host the Boy Scouts of America for a troop meeting at the clinic.
Dr. John demonstrated how an ultrasound works while our office manager Jeanne held pup Ranger for him and he showed some X-rays. Dr. McKee, along with one of our vet assistants, Lilly and pup Hank, demonstrated how an exam is usually done for any pets that come into the clinic. Vet tech, Rebecca, with the assistance of Duckie, showed how to listen to a heart rate and let the kids each take a listen.
It was so much fun to be able to host a gathering where we could teach the next generation about veterinary medicine. We can’t wait to see if any of these kids start the journey to being a Vet!
