UPDATE! BAILEY WENT HOME TO A NEW WONDERFUL FAMILY!

This is Bailey, she is 5 months old. As you can see in this picture, she is scared and confused. Bailey was adopted 3 months ago as a little 2 month old puppy. Today Bailey was failed by her adopters. They returned her stating she was "untrainable". Puppies do not come trained, the adopter has to put in the work and do the training. Bailey is now freaking out because she does not understand why she is back at the shelter. If you would like to give Bailey a LOVING home, please come meet her.

Courtesy Post: Owner is going into a nursing home and her family is seeking a new home for Sapphire. They thought they had her adopted but the person didn't follow through. Sapphire is eight years old, shy with strangers but very sweet with people she knows, good with other cats and with dogs, spayed, and utd on rabies. The family will pay for a wellness vet visit and an updated FVRCP vaccine. A small rehoming fee will be charged for Sapphire's safety. Contact 407-312-0678. Poor sweet luna is still at animal control in Jacksonville. We had a couple of people interested but nothing came of it. I know how hard it will be to find her a home but, there has to be someone out there somewhere who would love to have a great girl with a cool set of wheels. 🙏🏻💔

"Yesterday I adopted the oldest, sickest, and sorest shelter dog. I'll never forget his eyes. When I went into the cage he didn't even bother to look, he knew I wouldn't even see him.

Curling around the corner He'd accepted his fate. The volunteer said to me many times... Are you sure this one? Are you sure? YES! This is my dog. He opened the cage and 3 animals fell on me. I ran towards him, suddenly he looked at me as if he saw an angel... I hugged him and told him that now he'll be happy again. Then he sleeps in my lap... probably the first peaceful sleep he ever had.

Give it a life. Give it a hug. They need us."

Dog theft is on the rise in Florida. Keep a close eye on your dogs.

A man that was held up at gun point for his dog that started a 6 month investigation, to a much larger probe of of trafficking and an underground puppy chop shop in Florida.that spanned at least two Florida counties.

These sick people would take the dogs to a shed and cut out their microchips – replacing them with blank ones. "Basically, there was an operating room. There was a table covered with dried-up blood where you could see where they were cutting the dogs open, so they couldn't be identified later on to where they came back and their rightful owner," said Sgt. Eric Hampton of the Orange County
