The mission of the Oakland County Animal Control and Pet Adoption Center is to protect public safety through the enforcement of applicable state laws, to educate the public about responsible pet ownership, and to provide a humane haven for animals in our care and, where possible, to endeavor to reunite pets with their owners and to promote responsible pet placement. Poor Nova, her owner passed away a month ago, and now she’s in an overcrowded shelter. A Good Samaritan was taking care of her, but her personal dogs were bulling poor Nova😭 This sweet precious angel-baby needs to find her forever home!!! Nova is 5 years old, she had entropion repair on both of her eyes, so she’ll have sutures for a few days till they need to be removed.
