Help us empty our shelter and get our shelter dogs and cats into forever homes for Christmas. The BISSELL Pet Foundation Empty the Shelter adoption event is going on now. What better time than now to give a loving home to one of our many shelter dogs or cats.
The adoption fee for this event will be $25.00 for dog adoptions and $15.00 for cat adoptions

Money recently had a sleepover with volunteer Sam. This is what she had to say about her.

Money's Sleepover! 💰💸🍯

🤍Sleepover club member #8 joined the club and is seeking for her forever! Meet the sweetest and most gentle girl, Money! We’ve loved all of our guests, but Money is truly something special and someone is going to hit the million-dollar lottery by choosing her

🦛This 89lb perfect pup is 9.5 years, but you’d never guess that with her young spirit. She’s aged like fine wine and has the best personality to share with everyone she meets. No senior deserves to spend their days in a loud shelter, and Money is looking for her retirement home!

🤍She seems to be cat and small animal (ex. squirrel) reactive, but regularly is non-reactive or whines and body wiggles to interact with and be near other large dogs at the shelter

🦛She was unbothered by meeting a baby, 4- and 6-year-olds, and new guests. Humans are no strangers to her, and she doesn’t even lift her head when new people enter a space, so she’s not going to be the best guard dog 🤷🏼‍♀️

🤍She’s a polite lady for treats and enjoys going on walks. Her tail is constantly wagging and she loves affection

🦛No stairs for this girl. She can do 1-2 steps maximum to go in/out of the house but that’s really her limit. She's fine being lifted into cars and carried up the stairs, as long as you’ve got her held securely, and was good for a bath and in the car as she either sat or laid for the ride

🤍 I haven’t heard her bark. She does whine when she wants something (your food) or when I was out of sight up the stairs, but that’s all the noise she made

🦛She eats her dinners, had no accidents and holds her potty for a while especially when it's cold outside, and only chewed on a bone that was given to her. She loves being pet and will push her head into you to be closer, and enjoys laying with you to snuggle

🤍She slept through the night on her floor bed and in the middle of us on our bed with some minor readjustments through the night to stay comfy, but stays relaxed until we were ready to move, and she was lifted off the bed

🦛She’s genuinely perfect. It’s hard to describe just how lovely she is, and its heart breaking to know she hasn’t had the softest, most loving life thus far. She hasn’t let her harder life impact her spirit, and she’s got the best demeanor. Being a grown lady, she’s already set in her sweet, gentle ways, so no puppy surprises! She’s ready for her forever couch and would love her jailbreak ASAP so she doesn’t have to spend another night alone in her kennel!

Our poor little Noodle is still looking for his forever home! He is 4 years old, prefers to be the ONLY pet. He's been at the shelter for a long time. He's had some breaks from the shelter, but no permanent home of his own. Lately he's been curled up on his bed, sad, lonely and depressed.😭

Lucky this chunky boy is always trying to get more treats from the “help yourself” buffet. Lucky is one year old and has been in the shelter for 1 year and would love to find his forever home this holiday!!!
