ISO Assistant Barn Manager. Smaller private dressage barn in Poolesville, Maryland looking for an assistant manager. A job opportunity for our current person’s husband has them moving out of state. 16 stalls, spectacular, well-maintained facility on 57 gorgeous acres close to Virginia and DC. Owner is a veterinarian and a Grand Prix rider and lives on site. Staff is professional and long term. Care is exceptional and very personalized so we are looking for someone experienced who is very detail oriented. Womderful group of boarders. We are no drama, professional, and kind. 5 day work week, lovely housing, full benefits including 100% of health insurance, vacation, 401k, competitive pay. Duties to include general horse, barn and farm care, some grooming for owner’s horses, small amount of mostly local travel for shows, and assisting manager as needed. This is not a riding position but some riding opportunities might be possible for the right individual. So grateful to Stacy Lynne Equine Photography for capturing these of Venti (Vitalis x L’Espoir (Lord Leatherdale)) just before he was weaned this fall. He’s now a furry yak on his way to the awkward yearling stage. It goes by in a flash and having a foal has been such a fun experience. I can’t wait to breed Lola back this spring. She has found her calling🧡

Looking for unparalleled care and a spectacular facility without the craziness of a big barn? 57 acres, private and very well-maintained turnout, phenomenal indoor with dust free footing, over-sized outdoor with regulation ring for show preparation. Our exceptional and very experienced staff are able to provide truly individualized care as we limit stalls to 16 horses. You will never fight for ring space or wonder if anyone noticed an issue with your horses. Stalls are bedded well, cleaned often, and high quality hay and feed are provided. Cameras in the stalls, live-in staff and a veterinarian owner create a unique opportunity rarely found in a boarding barn.
