ISO Assistant Barn Manager. Smaller private dressage barn in Poolesville, Maryland looking for an assistant manager. A job opportunity for our current person’s husband has them moving out of state. 16 stalls, spectacular, well-maintained facility on 57 gorgeous acres close to Virginia and DC. Owner is a veterinarian and a Grand Prix rider and lives on site. Staff is professional and long term. Care is exceptional and very personalized so we are looking for someone experienced who is very detail oriented. Womderful group of boarders. We are no drama, professional, and kind. 5 day work week, lovely housing, full benefits including 100% of health insurance, vacation, 401k, competitive pay. Duties to include general horse, barn and farm care, some grooming for owner’s horses, small amount of mostly local travel for shows, and assisting manager as needed. This is not a riding position but some riding opportunities might be possible for the right individual.
