First official dish made with fresh veggies from our own property!! Radishes, carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, swiss chard, peppers!! Even the eggs came from our girls living on our own land!!

Our baby Gladus grew up to be a sweet rooster. We sent him to live out his life snagging treats for his new set of girls. Our newest additions are adorable little silkies. Meet Puff and Nuka (frizzle silkie).

Rush, Rocko, Charlie, and Oreo have the coop to themaelves for the next few months while these littles grow!!

One of the girls isnt a girl and i cant keep him. Im looking to trade two hens for him. He is super sweet and docile (didnt even know it was a he until now). If you know anyone tag them please!!

Second garden bed is down and ready!! The first layer of veggies and fruits are officially set up and ready to thrive!! Blueberries should be here tomorrow and the garden will be squared out and planted!!

Chicken coop is up and running!! Lots of hard work over the weekends to get it going but I'm so proud and excited. Here's to their first night outdoors!!!

Very first sourdough loaf of bread!! Thanks Sheri Farmer for the amazing starter! It turned out beautifully and best of all my son liked it!! This will be a staple from now on in my home!!!

I've made it a new tradition to cook something every Sunday morning entirely from scratch (practice makes perfect, right?!) This morning was biscuits and gravy and a new recipe I found for Cheez-Its! My son actually liked them so you know they were yummy!! Only 4 ingredients!

Microgreens are an easy addition to enhance just about any meal- use them as a garnish or toss them in a salad, wrap, or my personal favorite, a sandwich! 😋 They are great for adding that extra boost of flavor and nutrition to your favorite foods! 😋
