Meet Blue, a two-year-old neutered boy who is up-to-date on vaccinations. Unfortunately, Blue was abandoned in a secluded area infested with ticks, but he received needed medical attention and now he is thriving. Despite being heartworm positive, Blue has responded well to treatment and is expected to complete the heartworm treatment protocol by early next year. Blue exhibits a playful and affectionate personality, enjoying activities such as running, playing, and cuddling. He has also demonstrated a unique fondness for giving kittens kisses. Weighing approximately 50 pounds, Blue is crate and house trained, showcasing a high level of adaptability and obedience. His exceptionally cheerful demeanor toward his people ensures a warm welcome at the door. In his leisure time, Blue delights in exploring the outdoors, searching for frogs and squirrels. Recently, Blue has become selective and at times shown some aggression toward the other dogs in his foster home. It has not affected his demeanor towards cats. It could be a side effect of the heartworm treatment medications, but he would love to find a foster or adoption home where he can finish his treatment and share his love and affection.

Pupdate on our 2 bottle babies. They have been named Charlie Brown and Sally. They have naturally docked/short tails. Their eyes have opened and they are becoming more active. Thank you everyone who supports our mission to help dogs & puppies in need!

These tiny babies were left at the building of one of the local vet offices. Their eyes are not even open yet. We are so full that we can really only handle two babies long term, but we will make sure these babies get fed and cared for while we seek additional help for four of them.

Our funding has been quite low and we need to raise funds for supplies for these babies. Please donate and share!

Hazel was the tiny baby who came to us nearly bald from mange. She is a joyful, healthy 6 month old who is so ready to find her forever family.

She is loving. She is smart. She can be goofy (see the 3rd picture). She loves people, is good with other dogs and does not have accidents in the house or her crate.

She promises to give you as much love as you can handle if you bring her home for the holidays.

Baby Girl wants a family for the holidays.

She is just a beautiful girl. She is a ‘young’ 9 year old and is still very active and plays with toys. She gets along with other dogs and she loves her people. She is house trained and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. She will keep you warm at night and loves to sleep in bed with her people.

PUPDATE: Our little one from yesterday was not injured- seems only abandoned and scared. What a difference a day makes! A vet visit, vaccinations on-board, some food, water and rest and we are getting happy smiles.

Thank you all who support us to change the stories of dogs. ❤️

We received a plea today to assist with a possible injured dog. The first picture is where this dog was when a Good Samaritan noticed. We are hopeful are no serious injuries. A couple of our volunteers were able to secure the dog. We will know more tomorrow and update them.

We need to raise some funds for this dog’s vet care. Please share and donate to help us help this dog.

This wonderful boy W***y, aka (Clyde) has the cutest wirey coat and big hairy feet. He is ready for a forever home with someone to play with. He is crate trained rarely barks. He is really sweet and very smart. His foster have sponsored his adoption fee for an approved home!

🎶 Little W***y, W***y wants to… go home 🎶

We are throwing it WAY back with that song reference (younger folks can google Little W***y song) but our own not-so-little W***y is looking for his forever family!

He’s a lab mix but has the cutest wirey hair and smokey color pattern. He’s smart as a whip and very loving. See a video posted in our comments. He’s about 8 months old and would be a great addition to any family.
