I live in beautiful Duluth, MN, nestled between Lake Superior and the north woods. I have a BA in Art with an emphasis in sculpture from Minnesota State University Moorhead. During a model making internship with the Smithsonian, I worked on displays in the National Museum of Natural History and other Smithsonian museums. I also craft gut strings for instruments such as violins, but my core passion

s are taxidermy, painting, and sculpture. In addition to creating artwork, I focus on game head and life size mammal mounts and am happy to meet your taxidermy needs in these areas. I completed game head and small mammal mounting courses at The American Institute of Taxidermy and trained on deer heads with the talented Jim Willard. I’m also a member of the Minnesota Taxidermy Guild, Wisconsin Taxidermists Association, and United Taxidermists Association. For me, taxidermy is about preserving the beauty of an animal, and I’m passionate about doing that from the overall impression and personality down to the small details. Each mount is a work of art, from a simple, rustic antler mount to a complex, full body mount with habitat. All of my work is inspired by nature, and I spend time studying north woods flora, fauna, and landscapes to ensure that my depictions of them are accurate. If I’m not working in my shop, you will probably find me somewhere out in the woods peering at plants, looking for wildlife, or just enjoying the scenery.

Hi all, I'm somewhat moved out to Poplar and still in the process of getting my shop moved. I had the workshop building brought out a couple weeks ago and am slowly getting everything set up again. I'm taking skull and antler mounts this fall. Deer skulls are $200 this year. The good news is I can now take your Wisconsin deer heads for skull cleaning! For my Minnesota customers, drop off in Duluth is still ok too.

Hello all, I'm going to be on hiatus for a little while (more than I already was). I just moved out to Poplar, WI from Duluth and need to get the business switched over from MN to WI. And move my entire shed workshop building out here once things thaw out and dry out. I've got commercial zoning on the home out here so hoping that's a good first step to getting up and running again without the restrictions I had in the city. I want to do taxidermy so badly, it's my passion, but between work, health problems, and things going on in life, it's been an uphill battle. Hoping to get to the point where I can start taking birds and small mammals in addition to skulls and antler mounts. I'll keep you all posted, even if it takes a while.

I've been trying to come up with an antler mount that can be finished a little more quickly so I can charge less. The process didn't end up quite a fast as I wanted, but I'm now offering these rock texture antler mounts for $160 for whitetail or mule deer. I can do either a state imprint or deer track imprint, or can try custom shapes at customer request (might cost extra). It only works for states with distinctive shapes obviously! Minnesota and Wisconsin both look good. I put this one on a walnut panel but they look good on natural barn wood and dark oak too.

Hello everyone, just a shout out that I'm still taking only antler mounts and skull cleaning this year, and that prices have gone up. I haven't been able to get in touch with the person who updates the website so I've been unable to sign in and update prices without the password from her. Fabric antler mounts like the one pictured are at $190 this year. Supplies and shipping have gone up so much and I put quite a lot of time into each one. I've come up with a new type of antler mount that requires less labor and will be priced at $150. I'm just about finished with the prototype for that option and will get a photo up as soon as I can (having trouble picking out a panel). I need to double check with my skull cleaner on his pricing as that went up one time already and he just sent a message saying it went up again. We're all getting hit with supply chain shortages and increased costs, unfortunately. I'll get the skull cleaning price nailed down and post here as soon as I get in touch with him. Thanks and good luck in the woods this fall! I'm gradually getting my shop cleaned and put back together and hope to be able to take bird and small mammal taxidermy sometime in the next few years.

Sorry for the lack of updates, super busy! I've been contacted by several people now about a fraudulent job listing that says I'm hiring. Please don't put your personal info into any of these sites! I'll see if I can figure out how to report the listings and have them removed. My shop is at home and city zoning won't allow any employees that aren't immediate family living in the household, so I couldn't hire even if I wanted to.
