I feel bad that I haven't spent as much time with the animals since having the baby. Yesterday was the first time I spent time cleaning nesting boxes, scrubbing waterers & hanging out with everyone.

Holly was definitely the most excited to hang out with me & was very vocal about it & wouldn't stop chasing me around. 😂
•
I fed everyone & did everything unil the day I gave birth. But once I had him my husband took over & while I'm thankful for him I feel like we do things differently & I want to get back to it. I miss all my babies. 💞 Oh & im getting the baby chick itch 😩

Well after 4 years of living here we finally have a electric fence. 😂
Better late then never?

Dolly definitely isn't happy about it but thankfully is keeping her kids away from it so they don't have to get shocked.
& don't let them fool you they still have most of the yard they had before. They just can't come on the porch or go across the pond anymore.

One year ago today we got Holly. 💗

I can't believe how fast our time has gone by.
I'm so happy with the girl she is. & happy that she's best friends with one of our German shepherds Lola.
I honestly don't know how these two survived without eachother.
Lola loves to kiss Holly on her face & they always want to be by eachother. ❤

& I can't believe how much shes grown! Looking back on photos from when we first got her I can't believe how small she was. 💜

It's hatch day! 🎉 •🦆• Everyone decided they wanted to hatch a few days early. Luckily I was in the room with their brooder when they decided to start hatching. •🦆• I got some pretty cool videos of a few of them actually hatching. I'm thinking next time I might just put a go pro in there to get some time lapses. 🤣 •🦆• One surprise already. A pekin egg hatched out to be half pekin & half cayuga. Oh how the geese have grown. 💗 They still think Zack is their dad. 😂 He's trying to train them to follow him so he can walk them to the pond.
