🐾 February is National Pet Dental Health Month! 🐾

Did you know that your pet’s dental health is crucial to their overall well-being? Dental issues can lead to or be a sign of other health problems. That’s why regular check-ups are so important! 🦷

Make sure your pet’s teeth and gums are checked at least once a year by your vet for early signs of trouble and to keep their smile healthy. If you notice any of these signs, it's time to schedule an appointment:

❌ Bad breath
❌ Broken or loose teeth
❌ Extra or retained baby teeth
❌ Discolored teeth or tartar buildup
❌ Abnormal chewing, drooling, or food dropping
❌ Loss of appetite or refusal to eat
❌ Pain around the mouth
❌ Bleeding from the mouth
❌ Swelling around the mouth

Changes in your pet’s behavior, like becoming irritable or withdrawn, could also point to dental issues. Always be cautious when checking their mouth, as a pet in pain might bite.

Let’s keep those tails wagging and those teeth sparkling! 🐶🐱 Schedule a dental check-up today!

🚶‍♂️🐕 January is Walk Your Dog Month! 🐾

Walking your dog isn’t just a fun outing—it's a rewarding and healthy experience for both you and your furry friend! From providing physical exercise to offering mental stimulation through new smells, sights, and sounds, walks are great for your dog's overall well-being. 🐾👃👀

Regular walks help preserve muscle tone, support joint movement, and if your pet is carrying a few extra pounds, it can be an excellent way to shed those pounds and improve their health. 🌟

To get the most out of your walks, it’s important to design a safe walking routine and keep in mind the potential risks of injury or disease. 🐾💪

Here are some tips for a safe and successful walk: ✔️ Start slow and build up duration gradually ✔️ Use a leash and harness for control ✔️ Be aware of weather conditions and avoid extreme temperatures ✔️ Keep an eye on your dog for any signs of exhaustion or discomfort

Let's make this month the start of a healthier, happier routine for both you and your dog! 🐶💚
