These two pups were just found following a neighbor’s car at the top of Old Mill Road in Port Angeles. They don’t have any tags need to track down their owners. If anyone knows these dogs please let their owner know that they are waiting at Slobber House, contact us to pick up.

🎙️ Ladies and gentlemen meet ‘Ono 🥰

I flew ’Ono home from the Maui Humane Society to be the Slobber House host. He will not be up for adoption. I already knew I wanted to bring him home before taking him out for the day and then we had an amazing day at Sugar Beach chasing crabs 🦀 and biting waves 🌊. He’s such a sweet and social puppy making his transition seamless!

I had another amazing trip to Maui, of course not complete without a trip to the humane society while I am there. Their Dog on Demand program is back in action. I got to take a sweet boy named Pear 🍐 on a hike up Haleakala and met some other real sweethearts looking for their Ohana.

Can I find my furever home before my one year foster anniversary?? I’m Billy “White Shoes” and I have been in foster for eleven months (one year in May) with awesome friends at Slobber House Boarding but I would be even happier getting my own attention all day or with just one or two brothers and sisters. I love to cuddle with humans and fellow pups. I originate from Maui, just looking for my main squeeze on the mainland. I have a curiosity to look around this new environment, so please have a tall secure fence or apartment and be a strong loving parent to keep my attention where it needs to be. I walk well on leash but am a strong 55 lbs when deer show up. Mahalo for considering me 🐶

🥧 Sweetie Pie is off to her furever home in Port Ludlow. She’ll love her new home that’s for sure! She was so happy to see her new parents again, probably more so than when I got home from vacation. There’s clearly a connection. Congratulations Barbara and Dave on your new fur baby. Everyday will be dessert with Sweetie Pie 🥧

Aloha! Wow, a lot has happened between the end of a great vacation and transitioning back to Slobberville. First off, congratulations to the Roughriders boys on first win of the baseball season. Off to a great start. Keep playing like dawgs!
Second, Sweetie Pie has secured her furever home while I was away. More on her to come soon.
Third, while at the Maui Humane Society I was able to find two more sweet pups to bring back to the mainland. Smudge (black brindle dog) already has a home lined up and will be living in Sequim.
The home run of news is that while checking in at the airport in Maui, we happened to meet a couple of wonderful newlyweds on their honeymoon who fell in love instantly with Sunny (brown dog). They asked to say hello and Sunny hopped on her shoulder and stole their hearts. So now we will be working on sending 🌞 Sunny off to New Jersey.
Crazy transition back to the “real” world. Is this real? Pinch me 😂🤣😂

Cockadoodle doo!.. I mean woof! I’m Billy and when I am excited, I sometimes sound off like a rooster. It comes from my early days in Hawaii. My favorite thing in the world is to cuddle. Congratulations to Courtney and Jon on the welcoming addition of Lala into your family! 🥰🐶🥰
Lala has come full circle back to island life and gone international. While Vancouver Island isn’t as warm as Maui, there’s no question her new Ohana will keep Lala warmer than ever with love. It was hard to do but seeing her so welcomed with loving embrace by her new parents is why I rescued her in the first place. It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. Love you Lalapops!

Lucky to make it out well before the fires happened, these two Maui babies are looking for their forever homes. While they would love to stay here, we need to find their forever home to make room for more Maui pups to eventually come this way. Billy and Lala would love to stay together but they would also do well if split up. Both are dog friendly with other friendly pups. No real info on how they would do with other animals, they want to chase deer. No info on how they do with children, I imagine that they would do great unless they are having the zoomies better get out the way 🤣 they are total sweethearts!
