Did you know there was recently an accidental mating between a dog and a tiger?!?!

Most would think this would be impossible, and we don’t normally condone such willy-nilly breeding practices, but the outcome in this case is quite stunning!

His name is Sloof Lirpa, and he turns 1 year old today!

Moonboots update! This adorable Shar Pei x Aussie mixed lady was rescued off Craigslist by Huckleberry House Rescue [a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue] a few months ago when her owner could no longer care for her.

With some veterinary attention, and good ol’ TLC, Moonboots has since made an amazing recovery and has wiggled her fuzzy pantaloons into our collective Huckleberry Hearts! So, she will permanently be staying with us (at our veterinarian’s house) as an “Ambassadog” for future fundraisers 😍

We are hoping we can save MORE animals like Moonboots — in fact, we currently have 5 more rescues in foster at this time needing medical attention (see pics attached of Skittles and Sammy) — but we need help to raise money for some surgical supplies (i.e., anesthesia machine, dental machine, autoclave, and surgical instruments)!

We are shooting for a total of $10,000 in donations. That amount should allow us to purchase the equipment needed to help save, treat, and spay/neuter literally HUNDREDS of cats/dogs/puppies/kittens, and adopt them out into new homes!
