We have a second eligible bottle lamb this morning. This tri-color ram lamb is 3rd generation registered sire progeny and he's HUGE. We weighed him at over 11 lbs this morning and he was only born hours ago!

Babies, babies, everywhere! We're over 2/3rds done with only 8 ewes left to go. We have 37 lambs on the ground with 17 boys and 20 girls!

May weaning will be here all too soon--get on our waiting list today!

Seen here on the right is Mary who is at the beginning of labor in which she produced healthy triplets, our 4th set of triplets this year.

There's been such a flurry of babies being born that I've missed getting photos posted of all of them. Here's one of the latest--the great and mighty Moo had triplets yesterday--three all black girls! 🐑

Our third Katahdin ewe to lamb this year is Lizbet, and last night she gave us the first set of triplets for 2022--two chocolate girls and a white boy.

These were NOT little lambs and she handled them all like a champ! This is her third year in a row of giving us triplets!

And our first 2022 Katahdin lamb is born! Her mom is a first time yearling ewe and her sire is one of KRK Katahdin great registered rams. Only 26 ewes to go! 🐑

Duneach Farm is pleased to offer ewe lambs from its 2021 lambing season and a few select ewes from its 2020 and 2019 lambing seasons. All lambs were sired by one of our two Registered Katahdin rams, "Budd" or "Captain". All 2021 lambs were born between January 26 and March 2.

There are fourteen (14) 2021 ewe lambs, three (3) 2020 ewe lambs, one (1) 2019 ewe and one (1) 2018 ewe. We would normally sell this quality of lambs and ewes for $3,000 but are motivated to sell to make space for new bloodlines arriving soon at our farm, and so have reduced the price to $2,600--this is a great starter flock!

This flock is ready to go to a new home--all animals were recently wormed. Take all for $2,600!

Two male Katahdin Bummer Lambs Available! The white one was born March 25th and the brown one was born yesterday (March 30th). $100 for the pair or $65 each if picked up this week. Both have received natural and supplemental colostrum and are now on milk replacer. We are located halfway between Sequim and Port Angeles.

Duneach Farm is pleased to offer lambs and select ewes from its 2020 lambing season. All lambs this year were sired by one of our two Registered Katahdin rams, "Budd" or "Captain". All 2020 lambs were born between March 24 and May 23.

There are 16 ram lambs, 3 two-year-old ewes, 7 yearling ewes, and 7 ewe lambs, for a total of 33 animals. The ram lambs may be banded or left intact if seeking "halal" suitable meat.

This flock is ready to go to a new home--all animals were recently wormed and our 2020 biosecurity blood panel results are pending in the next few days. PM with any questions!

Her first freshening Molly produced a single, the next time twins, the third time triplets, and now this morning she has given us quadruplets! Three girls and a boy and as our most prodigious milker who had no problem with the triplets, we'll be monitoring closely and with admiration of our favorite Alpine doe!

We are heartbroken to report that upon arriving home this evening, we found Heads, our dwarven Scottish Highlander steer, passed away in his barn. We suspect it was related to his dwarven condition that he's had since birth. He had been such a huge hit with all who've met him, with such a perfect temperament. The world lost a brilliantly fuzzy candle of light, love, and snuggles today. RIP, Heads. You will be sorely missed. :,( (05/11/2016 - 09/17/2019)

We have another Katahdin ewe going into labor this morning, shortly after waking up to find a new baby girl lamb on the ground for yet another ewe!

The white ewe with the brown baby had hers sometime between 4 am and 6 am this morning. The young brown ewe with the partially lifted tail is the one currently in labor.

We are using Amcrest Security cameras in all of our lambing/nursery barns this year. They are wi-fi cameras with nearly 100' night-vision. They are available at Sequim Electronics / RadioShack in Sequim--and so are our live animal feeds filled with cute baby goats and sheep!

Note--the yellow strap is a precautionary measure as we got horribly heavy sticky wet snow yesterday and we wanted to make sure our hoop barn's roof maintained the correct shape.
