A long over due HELLO!
We are all doing well and very busy!
Thought it would be nice to do a post for all of those who was wondering how we are.
After the storm ( over 30 days no internet and running off a generator for essentials after 2 weeks of pure nothing in the florida heat) i just enjoyed no social media, but do miss sharing all the crazy critters.
So for this pop in, i was in the middle of a water change and had to run out to return a rental car real quick, shes usually really good about cage being open... but she must have knew we weren't home this time, i walked into this. we all got a laugh at the sight. lol.

Posting while i can- my area was severely impacted by Hurricane Ian and i am still without power. Doing everything i can for all the critters, i have some cages outside i am rotating bearded dragons in for heat and sunlight, my animal room is still at about 80 degrees, most concerned about my savannah monitor, chameleon, and mexican alligator lizards ive had hooked up on the generator, monitor getting his heat, alligator lizards have a fan to cool down, and chameleon out in the sun. Thoughts and prayers to everyone affected, this is tough and ian damaged and destroyed alot of homes in the area. We are lucky enough to still have a home, just trying to get through it 🙏 ❤ this is the first ive had any internet connection so if you messaged me prior im sorry!!!

The price to feed all our animals (35+) is a lot! Including new uvb bulbs every 6 months, supplements, vitamins, vets, fresh veggies and substrate changes I struggle like everyone else and this could really help us ❤️❤️❤️

I know I know, I find odd things cute, but look how cute this little isodpod is!? And that angry little looking face 😱 Little Hedgehog isopod “Thailand Spiny” originates from southern Thailand, among other places. They are found mainly near ferns, s they like it a bit more humid than other species. They eat foliage eagerly and are not picky about what they eat. The young isopods almost stay exclusively under the care of their parents and take little risk to leave the safe hiding place and protection of the adults. ❤️

Look at this cute and very unique green tree frog a resident in Pensacola found residing in their yard! What a lucky lady!!!! This frog has a mutation suspected to be axanthism, where it cannot produce yellow so the pigment is blue. Genetics are weird and nature is cool 😎
