Something pretty exciting planned for these little guys stay tuned 🤓 in case you didn't know these are dairy cow isopods, nature's clean up crew! These actually aren't bugs believe it or not they are in the same family as crabs and lobsters. Isopods eat decomposing organic matter turning it into nutrients that are available for plants to up take! #terrarium #plantcare #ecosystem #isopods

These are dairy cow isopods, they feed on decaying plant and animal material, they are one of nature's many clean up crew Members and are also a Crustacean like Crabs! Stay tuned for available display enclosures soon! 🤩 #isopod #terrarium #ecosystem

ISOPODS: any of a large order (Isopoda) of small sessile-eyed aquatic or terrestrial crustaceans with the body composed of seven free thoracic segments each bearing a pair of similar legs. These are juvenile dairy cow isopods during feeding time, these are excellent clean up crew for many different pets waste material!
