Obedience training commands used are heel, sit/stay, down/stay, come, free and the “place” command. Sage the Cane Corso working on lots of distraction work with a strange dog. Dogs need to know how to behave and be calm in the presence of other dogs. We did lots of sits,downs, recalls and loose leash walking.

Puppy Imprinting class has graduated 🎓🎓🎓
These cuties have a great start to all foundation commands. We will be seeing all of them again after the new year. All of the owners have big plans for their pups. A therapy dog, a service dog and search and rescue dog. Can’t wait to see them again and work on the next chapter of their lives.

Our puppy class is a great start for your young pup! We do some foundation work, play on some obstacle course and then the puppies get to have socialization time. The attention span of puppies can be quite short so we work for 10-15 minutes. We talk about potty training, crate training and nipping.

Indy is a recue who needs some help with impulse control and manners. Its not uncommon for dogs to need help. They aren't born with an off switch but we can help them be calmer and relax.

Rescue Garage class was very productive. We had 2 reactive dogs which we worked on being quiet around the other dogs. All these dogs are up for adoption and we want them to succeed in their new home when the time comes along. Manners, obedience and calm state of mind goes a long way.

Kyle and Spooky completed our basic obedience course. Great progress was made by both dogs. Learning obedience and manners are so important otherwise these dogs won’t have the freedom to go to new adventures.

Mahi is a 1 year old JRT who is very social bit extremely high energy. She has,knowlegde of commands but her lack of impulse control hinders her from focusing on tasks. Comsistency and patience will help her focus what really matters.

So proud of my students from Nosework class. They did a wonderful job today at Bratty Paws first scentwork trial. They have been working very hard and it showed today. We did exterior and interior searches today.
We all will ne back tomorrow for containers and buried hides.
