A couple of the Pups from this week! This week has been crazy as my oldest child graduated from high school and turned 18 this week! Needless to say between it all, I didn't work a whole lot this week. I appreciate everyone that was patient with me this week with life being so hectic! Added is a picture of the birthday girl/graduate!

This is the newest addition to our family, Porter. He is a pomeranian. Porter came to us as a rescue and had to be shaved completely down due to severe matting. Shaving a double coated breed is actually not good for them. It can effect them in multiple negative ways. I attached a flyer to help explain some of the myths with a double coated breed. I am working on Porters coat to help it regrow healthy and hopefully not have lasting effects from having to be shaved. Frequent brushing and a regular grooming schedule will help prevent matting and an issues with impacted undercoats. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!

It's the Dog Days of Summer and boy is it hot out there! A good groom would really be appreciated by your pets to get that extra hair fur out of their coats and help keep them cooler!
