Due to today's weather our meeting tonight has been canceled. See you next time.
UPDATE
As you can see from the video, the fence has been installed at the dog park, and we are just waiting on a couple more items to be installed before we can open. We know you are all excited to check it out, and we will provide an opening date here as soon as we have it set.
Thank you for your continued support!! 🐶♥️
Hello! Just a reminder that this month's meeting has been canceled due to Halloween. Another update is that (sadly) our fence won't be up until the end of November.
We will be organizing an outdoor work date (on our site) and a day to work on T-shirts. Be sure to follow our page here for dates and times.
Our group is going to be represented on November 19th at The Outpost craft/vendor event. We are selling t-shirts and baked goods, and will be holding a 50/50 and basket raffle. If you are interested in baking or working at this event please send me a private message.
I am REALLY looking forward to our "soft" opening and will do my best to keep you informed.
🐶❤️ BIG NEWS!! ❤️🐶
Friends of Scentrail Bark Community Park has received an incredibly generous $10,000 anonymous donation that brings us so close to our original fundraising goal. We want to thank this donor on behalf of our organization, the community and all of our furry friends who are so excited to again have a safe place to run and play off-leash.
With this donation, we begin a final push to raise the remaining funds to make our Ripple Creek dog park in Port Edwards a reality. If we can hit our goal this summer, we hope to be able to open yet this fall.
Our next step is to secure new fencing estimates, as we know our original estimates from 2 years ago have changed. We hope to have an exact total for the project to share soon. If you know local contractors who may be interested in this project, please reach out to us.
If you are able to help us in this final fundraising push, send donations to Friends of Scentrail Bark Community Park, PO Box 272, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54495, or donate through PayPal at https://www.paypal.com/biz/fund?id=6NNN2DR69FQHE.
We appreciate all of your support, and we can’t wait to see you at our new park!!
Merry Christmas, dog park supporters. We hope you and your furry family members have a safe and happy holiday season. 🎄🎅🐶
