One of the cutest beings on this planet, an opossum, also one of the most misunderstood. They are marsupials, they do not transmit rabies and are indispensable for pest control, they are naturally docile and gentle, and when scared they show their teeth and hiss to appear menacing, but when they are terrified they don't "play" possum - they quite literally faint from fear - so do not harm them!"

GOT WORD THIS MORNING, ELVIS WAS ADOPTED ON FRIDAY FROM THE RESCUE CENTER. WORD HAS IT HE NOW HAS TWO PALS TO LIVE WITH AND WILL HAVE A GREAT LIFE. THANKS TO ALL FOR INTEREST AND GOOD WISHES. YEAH, ELVIS!

Help find a home for Elvis, please. Forward to anyone you know. He was at the shelter for almost 2 months, I was able to walk him most days, he is a jewel. We took him to this Doberman Rescue, hoping for a better outcome for him. He is a big beautiful boy, raised in a home. Please send this post to anyone who might be interested in him. He's a great dog. Needs a loving home.

This is Gia! She seems is very timid, but not aggressive. She was brought into put shelter as a owner surrender. If you want a pretty pit bull girl, come see her! She walks beautifully on a leash. Sweet dog.

We have a large chocolate lab in the shelter. He seems a little timid, but is coming around. He's a beautiful boy. I was able to get a leash on him, but he freaked out after he realized he was tethered. He will NEED leash training. He is a nice dog, figured out I'm a good person, but you will have to earn his trust. I think they said he is under a year old, big dog, but will need love and work.

The little white one has been adopted today. Two cuties are still here.
These three showed up yesterday, 2 girls, boy is white, I think. Nice little dogs, if you want a young dog to raise, come see them. Seem well maintained. All 3 are soft beautiful doggers.

ADOPTED! A very nice woman came and rescued her! This is going to be a very good girl and friend. Someone turned over this ADORABLE little girl today. She is well fed, cared for, she walks on the leash, jumps a little, but will get over that. She is about 30 pounds, young, going to be a mid-size dog, absolutely beautiful! Gotta see her, she is a keeper. She is young, looks a little like a ridgeback. She is beautiful!

Elvis went to a Doberman Rescue, he will have a wonderful life ahead of him. He is the best boy, my eyes are still full of tears. This is Elvis. Very excited when he gets sprung from jail, but loves to walk and is a perfect guy for your family. He is a house dog, raised in a home. Would not be good as a yard dog. If you want a very handsome Doberman who will be part of your family and not a guard dog for your yard, come meet him. He's about 75 lbs. heart worm negative, neutered, probably 3-4 years old. Seems disinterested in cats, just a good all around beautiful Doby. I'm heart sick someone hasn't fallen for this beautiful boy!

WE STILL HAVE A LITTLE BOY AND GIRL AVAILABLE TODAY! THEY ARE EATING KIBBLE, SUCH CUTE BABIES.This is Lolly, the mom of the 4 babies who will need a home in about a week, someone has reserved the little grey male. Come see them.....She is young, a very sweet little young mom. She is sweet, would make a great family pet. They are eating kibble, so, they are ready for a home soon.

WE STILL HAVE THIS SWEET GIRL, SHE WAS IN THE YARD WITH OTHER DOGS TODAY. SHE IS SO SWEET. NOT AGRESSIVE AT ALL. This, my friend, is Celine Dion, she is so funny, and the voice. She is a singer, not a barker. Turned in a couple of days ago, we are getting her fattened up a bit, again, a very nice girl with a sweet personality. Think the owners called her Blue.
