Little reminder from Kevin that we are *closed to the public* (we’re here caring for our overnight passengers) on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. We have regular hours every other day.

Also, I authorized the entire week between holidays as pajama week for staff. Wearing hard pants seemed wrong.

It’s that time of year! If you happen to be noodling around downtown Port Jeff, go visit our tree at the visitor center! All of the ornaments were made by Piper’s mom from and the little balls with dog names on them are all the pooches who stuck with me during covid, which is when the visitor center started having this event where businesses could sponsor a tree. It’s really sweet and looks so pretty in there!
