I’d like to give a big shout out and many thanks to Danny Mendez of Urban Jungles for giving me the opportunity to take in this HUUUGE fella. This gorgeous U. fimbriatus is pushing 12-13” and is a dream come true!

We got home a little while ago and he’s set up in his quarantine enclosure to get him use to his new surroundings. I also have plans for a massive bioactive enclosure for him. I CAN’T WAIT!!!

Short of vid of GOLE 1-1 tearing up another roach. Thank God, all of this season’s hatchlings are great feeders and already eating roaches as well as various gecko diets. But this one by far is the best! Voracious lil’ gecko!!!

I just sent a Facebook vid to a friend to show her how I get hatchlings on to roaches and thought I'd share with the rest of you as well. I get so many questions on how to get the geckos to eat roaches. I don't feed from the tongs in the beginning. . . I rely on their prey drive. I simply drop the roach in their line of sight and the movement from the bounce triggers them. Sometimes I pick up and drop for several minutes, but the movement attracted them and they eventually gobble them down. #GekkotaLLC
