PARROT HUMOR

A gentleman walks into a pet shop and inquires about a parrot. The shopkeeper presents him with a parrot perched elegantly on a stand.

"This parrot is quite special," the shopkeeper says.

"What makes it so special?" the gentleman asks.

"Well," the shopkeeper replies, "it has an exceptional vocabulary and can engage in discussions on various topics."

Intrigued, the gentleman starts a conversation with the parrot. To his amazement, the parrot discusses philosophy, art, and literature with remarkable insight.

Impressed, the gentleman decides to purchase the parrot. As he's about to leave, he notices a string attached to each of the parrot's legs.

"What are these strings for?" he inquires.

"Ah," says the shopkeeper, "if you pull the right string, the parrot recites Shakespeare. If you pull the left string, it quotes Homer."

Curious, the gentleman asks, "And what happens if I pull both strings at the same time?"

The parrot looks at him and says, "I fall off my perch, you idiot!"
