Today the goody bags were packed, baths were had, nails were trimmed. We enjoyed lots of snuggles (and the accompanying tears) this morning before I got to send them on their ways to their forever families. A piece of my heart left with each pup who walked out my door for the last time. Yet my heart is so incredibly happy that I was able to make so many families dreams come true, but I sure will miss these 3. The house is quiet. The chaos has died down, and we will be saying goodbye to our last puppy Mr. Black (now Titus) this weekend. 🧡🩷❤️

Update: he found his forever home and is now officially named “Ollie!!”

Spent some one on one time with Mr. Orange this evening and can’t believe this amazing boy still hasn’t found his home! He is ready to go now and can’t wait to meet his forever family. He is very active so he is needing a home to keep up with his playful self!

Sorry for the delayed post, we’ve been super busy here trying to wrap up everything before these sweethearts head to their new homes next week! I seriously cannot believe how fast these 7 weeks have flown by, but knowing that my pups are going to the most amazing homes makes it all worth it!

Super stinking proud of this girl! Not only has Daisy done an amazing job being a mama to these 6 goofy pups, but today she also completed and passed her AKC Canine Good Citizen and AKC Trick Dog Novice titles! This sweet girl just loves to learn and please everyone around, and I can’t wait to see these traits passed down to her babies. 🎉🥳

While playing outside today, Mr. Orange decided to be the brave boy of the bunch and test out water play! Let’s just say he loved it and thoroughly enjoyed jumping out of the water, into the dirt to get muddy, then hopping right back in to rinse off 😂🤦‍♀️ definitely need to get a video as this boy is always cracking me up with his goofy behaviors! 🧡🧡

The pups did their first barrier challenge earlier this week and it’s safe to say I need to up the difficulty for these smart babies! This is a great age to start introducing some controlled levels of frustration to build a greater tolerance for it later in life as well as increasing their capacity to problem solve! The puppies were shown their food and then blocked off with a gate and had to figure out how to get around it! Everyone excelled and we will definitely be conducting another more complex barrier challenge this week!

The pups are five weeks old today 🥳

This week they were introduced to the outside and absolutely loved playing in the Florida sun! We also began crate introductions and they absolutely love seeing how many can pile into one crate haha! We still have one boy available, and next week we will be hosting our first puppy picking day! I truly believe each one of Daisy and Leo’s pups will go to their perfect furever home.

It’s mind boggling how big they’re getting! They’re starting to do so well with using their potty area and love play time with each other and our family! We still have one boy available, and can’t wait to see who’s hearts land on which families in 2 very short weeks!

The pups did their first barrier challenge earlier this week and it’s safe to say I need to up the difficulty for these smart babies! This is a great age to start introducing some controlled levels of frustration to build a greater tolerance for it later in life as well as increasing their capacity to problem solve! The puppies were shown their food and then blocked off with a gate and had to figure out how to get around it! Everyone excelled and we will definitely be conducting another more complex barrier challenge this week!

This litter is definitely going to take a piece of my heart with them 🖤

The golden pups only have 3 things on their to-do list: eat, play, and nap… on repeat 💤

Mr. Black is fast asleep dreaming of his forever home! I can’t get enough of these chunky lil bellies!

Too funny not to post! Someone is clearly exhausted from being such a good mama!! You go Daisy!! Get all the sleep you can because in a few weeks these guys are gonna run circles around you! 😅😂

The puppies got their first nail trims this evening! Here Mr. Black is showing off by yawning which I interpret as “this is too easy I’m gonna take a nap” 😂 From now until these guys leave for their new homes they will be introduced to a variety of situations to help them gain confidence including having their feet handled as it’s no fun trying to cut a dogs nails who is afraid! By desensitizing puppies to nail trims from an early age we can curb this fear from developing later on in life!
