These two cats were spayed/vetted with the help of Cherished Cats and Sunbury Animal Hospital. We appreciate their generosity. They've been fixed, received shots, and been dewormed.
Boots and Smokey will live with us, but please refrain from abandoning cats/kittens on our property. We cannot afford additional expenses.

A very irresponsible and thoughtless person dropped two cats on our property without our permission or knowledge -- we guess thinking we would care for them. We want this person to know we DO NOT have the funds to care for these cats. Thanks to the generosity of Cherished Cats Rescue Alliance and Sunbury Animal Hospital we can get them fixed, because we are responsible organizations protecting the unwanted.
Please know that just because you see a barn or open fields, it is NOT an invitation to drop unwanted cats or kittens. These cats are more work for our Rescue volunteers and owners, and an expense we are not able to handle.
Any donations for food would be appreciated. We are listed on Chewy.com also

The Seiple Family Foundation through the Law Firm of Benjamin Apfelbaum in Sunbury has awarded Far Point with a $3000.00 check for the removal of brush and tree limbs on our fence line. This will ensure our horses have a safe and secure pasture without compromising our fencing. We are so grateful for this donation and have contacted our landscaper to start the work as soon as he is able to do so.

This beautiful boy said goodbye to this Earthly place yesterday, but will be guarding over his family Far Point Animal Rescue with those who have gone before him now.

Thoughts and prayers are with the Far Point family. It's never easy to say goodbye.

SUMMER is our gorgeous, 20 yr old Sorrell Quarter horse mare. She came to Far Point in March 2005 as a yearling. She was adopted out and came back in March of 2013. She was unfortunately hit by a car and had injury to her face. She has no trouble eating and is one horse that never leaves leftovers. She will live out her life at Far Point and is our Diva mare.

We are so thankful to those individuals that keep our stables running . Kimberly Aucker, Olivia Fischetti, Chuck Lebo, Audrey Leonard, to name a few. Thanks to every volunteer that came out this year to make sure our horses are fed, watered, brushed, and loved. We feel blessed by all of you and your dedication.

Far Point owners and volunteers make an effort to get our horses out to pasture every day. Rain, ice, and extreme heat keep them in stalls. But we all love watching these equines enjoy exercise and companionship of their herd.
