This 6 month-old girl is almost completely blind but it's not stopping her. During our session, we worked on her recall and stay. We also utilized playground equipment to work on walking through, crawling under, stepping up and stepping down. Violet needs to trust our commands for her safety. She did fabulous. One of my favorite and most useful obedience training commands is teaching the dogs to "stay." Stay can be very useful in many different situations, from being able to give a visitor space when entering your home to allowing a dog to pass by on a walk. One of my favorite things to work on is overcoming fear. I love seeing a dog's fear melt away and be replaced with confidence. I also feel great joy watching families react when they see their dog conquer their anxiety. Rory is racing up the stairs in this video but 15 minutes earlier, she was fearful of the stairs. Great job to Rory on her first time up the stairs. So proud of you. ❤

Chloe enjoyed her vacation very much. We taught her some fun little tricks like how to push the floaty, jump into the pool to "save" someone, hit the beach ball back and forth and more. 😀

Cleo is only 16 weeks old and yet look at this recall. She's also doing fabulous with sit, down, off, drop it, your spot, leave it and so much more. Don't wait it out and hope things get better. Do it right and do it early and you'll enjoy a lifetime bond filled with respect, love and trust.

Winnie started working with me last week to address reactivity to dogs/humans, severe leash pulling and jumping. We've been working hard to teach Winnie acceptable behaviors. Her owner just sent me this video clip...look at this beautiful heel! Winnie has a lot more to learn and it takes time but this is fantastic progress. Training will always be more successful when the owner commits to it. Good job Winnie and Rebecca!
