A dog with a solid "leave it" should be able to walk past something they're interested in with a loose leash just by being asked to do so. Rafa did an outstanding job during his session! He worked hard and stayed focused on his handler, even though a dozen of his favorite treat toys and yummy chews were all over the ground. I train dogs that it's fun to leave it, so when it really counts, your dog stays safe. I am very proud of how far Rafa and his family have come with his training. 👋 ❤️

I absolutely love it when I get dogs that come from out of state, and we do power sessions which are typically a couple hours. During this session, we covered ways to reduce nipping, jumping and other demanding behaviors. We taught Rudy how to wait for food on the floor, the touch recall, down, fetch, bring, drop and waiting at the door when it's open. All this was accomplished in only two hours of training! What a sweet and smart boy.

What makes the dog smile? Conquering their fears! Augie (recently rescued and adopted), learned that it's absolutely a blast to get into the car! After we tackled getting into the car, we learned that we also wait when the door opens until we're given a release command to exit the vehicle. I couldn't be prouder of this boy!!!

20 week old Clay had a blast and received numerous complements about his behavior out shopping the other day. People just couldn't believe that a puppy could be so well behaved! It's easier than you think to train a dog to behave in public places. Dogs just need to learn that sometimes we calmly greet strangers and other times we ignore strangers. If trained properly, they look to us for this guidance and it's easy for them to behave with manners. So proud of the little guy. He is doing exceptional with his training.

Words cannot express how proud I am of this boy. Today's job for Arlo was to calmly watch the world go by. I was hired to help Arlo with his severe reactivity. Today, he watched as countless bikes, motorcycles, cars, walkers, runners, dog walkers etc went past him with no reactions. My heart is full of happiness. Arlo and family have been working hard. Arlo is walking better, checking in more and reacting less. Great job to my buddy!

It was absolutely wonderful to take advantage of the beautiful weather and spend some time doing distance work. Both of these pups did phenomenal! Check out the video clips. Pretty Piper needed help with her confidence when it comes to jumping in and out of a vehicle, especially since her fur-mama broke her hand! She did AMAZING! No more needing to be picked up for this big girl! So proud of her.
