Leslie Stern Abramowitz, the founder of Leslie's Leashes, will treat your animals like her own. Leslie herself is the proud mother of: -two human children -Tom and Jerry, a pair of six-year-old cats -Josie, a three-year-old terrier/poodle mix rescue -Benny, a one-year-old Cane Corso rescue -Stella, a two-year-old hedgehog When not running her business, Leslie volunteers as a dog handler and caretaker at the local shelter, The Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter, in Port Washington. Leslie has always had animals in her life from a very young age, and shares her passion and love with every animal she meets. Leslie’s Leashes, located in Port Washington, provides reliable and reasonable dog walking and pet care services for all of your pets when you cannot be at home. Since our company cares about the happiness, safety and well-being of your pet and home, Leslie's Leashes is fully licensed and bonded. We only hire reliable and professional dog walkers and pet sitters who have had experience working with animals. All employees go through a thorough background check and interview process.
