Bullet, our beautiful male German Shepherd is still waiting for a home! He needs a German Shepherd Savvy family with no other dogs in the home at the moment while he decompresses from shelter life.

Bullet is a 2 year old German Shepherd that was surrendered to us after his owner suffered an injury and was unable to care for him anymore. Bullet is a typical shepherd- intelligent, loyal, and energetic. He is extremely treat motivated (he can sometimes be a bit rough taking treats, but he's an excellent catcher if you toss it!) and has learned all his commands quickly. He lives to chase a tennis ball- and trades them like a pro!- but once some of his energy is out is happy to sit next to you for a petting session. We feel Bullet would thrive in an active household with shepherd or guarding breed experience and children aged 16+. We are overdue for an adoption post! We had some wonderful dogs go home at the end of 2024, and rang in the new year with a few more. Congrats to Macarena, Norman, Coolatta, Toby Keith, Banshee and Celine!

It doesn't get much cuter than our newest adoptable dog- Stitch! Just in time for the holidays, he's looking for a fresh start in 2025. He was found walking around in the rain one night in this cold weather.. At only 6 months old, he isn't letting this get him down. Stitch may just be the one you’ll want to kiss under the mistletoe!

We visited the Winter Wonderland at Clark Botanic Garden to visit Santapaws with our adoptable dogs Willie and Portia!
They’ve been good all year, so of course they asked him for a forever home for Christmas.

Hershey is the perfect lap dog! At only 23 pounds, she loves nothing more than to just be with you and maybe even go for a leisurely stroll. We have 2 adorable 10 week old Pitbull puppies for adoption. "Little Debbie" and "Yodel" have been with us since they were new borns and are finally ready for their furever families! They are doing great with all their training so far, and we are looking for families experienced with the breed to help them grow into the best versions of themselves!

Are you an old soul looking for pleasant company while you knit on the couch or tackle a particularly complicated jigsaw puzzle? Look no further than Homer, our 8 year old Cockapoo- a few minutes with Homer and a feeling of "zen" will wash over you and you will find yourself trying to remember why you were stressed in the first place. He is beyond sweet, low key, and even knows commands- we can't imagine why anyone would abandon this boy in a stairwell! Homer does have decreased vision, but after a visit with an ophthalmology specialist it was determined no treatment is needed at this time, but yearly specialist visits to monitor the progression of his vision loss will be necessary. Although Homer is the sweetest to everyone, due to his vision loss we feel Homer would enjoy a quieter home without young children as he can be sound sensitive. Teddy is a 2 year old Chocolate Lab/ Pibble mix according to his previous owner, but all we know is that he's 100% Good Boy! Sadly, his owner had to surrender him due to family health issues, and sweet Teddy doesn't understand why he ended up here. He's making the best of it and enjoys every minute he's out and about with our staff and volunteers! Teddy has a medium energy level, is housebroken according to the previous owner, and gets along well with other dogs. Teddy is full of love and we believe he would make a great addition to just about any home!
