Hi Everyone,

Unfortunately, we will need to close tomorrow, June 19th, while they clean up the storm damage. We had more trees fall than we’ve ever had fall, and they’ll need to come in with saws and go in and out the big gate, so it won’t be safe for the dogs.

We will be back to normal on Thursday, and hopefully there won’t be any more storms! We’re so sorry for any inconvenience this poses on any of our customers.

I believe we have contacted everyone with reservations for tomorrow, but I just wanted to also post here, just in case.

Update on storm damage:
We have a LOT of trees down in and around the park, but the fence is all intact. We have one top rail a little bent, but we’re otherwise pretty lucky. I am waiting on a call back from Pfizer regarding a repair. We may need to work around their schedule, as having dogs here when they are cutting down trees is not ideal safety-wise.

I will update as soon as I hear back on their timing. Please comment here or message if you think you won’t be here tomorrow because of the heat. We have AC and the pools, and the dogs do play a lot inside, but if you’d prefer to keep them home, please let us know now as it will assist in any decision making.

Good Morning! We will be closed today due to storm damage - AGAIN! I’m so sorry we in this situation again. Mason is there and I am on my way, and we will post more info as soon as we figure out what is going on.please stay cool and contact us if we can assist with anything. We do have indoor AC. Unfortunately, it appears we will be closed on Thursday, May 9th, as well. I haven’t heard anything regarding fixing the fence yet. Please comment or like this post so I know who has seen this and knows we’ll be closed. I’ll head back to work in a little bit to call everyone I don’t see like or comment on this post. That way I don’t have to bother too many people.

Update for Wednesday: we do have some storm damage to the fence. Several trees from the woods next door fell on the outside fence and it is torn out and there are some big holes and poles have come off. The property next door is owned by Pfizer, and they have always been amazing at getting repairs done. They did send a person over to look at the damage and I am waiting on an ETA of when they can do the repairs. They are hopeful it may be today as they have extra crews working, but they also have a lot of work to do at their own facility, so it may possibly have to wait until tomorrow. I’m the meantime, I’m picking up a lot of debris that blew in. Thankfully, this tornado JUST missed us! I will update here and the answering machine message as we get more info. I hope everyone managed to dodge the damage! Thank you for all the checkins as well!

At this time, our day camp is full and we aren’t able to take new dogs. We love meeting new dogs, but we don’t want to take in more than can safely play in the group. It’s really hard to say no, but it’s also really hard when they don’t get along, or when personalities are too rough or too timid to play together where everyone has a good time. We work very hard to make sure they do and that the play groups are consistent. As we allow the dogs the freedoms to play together or nap together in a cage free environment, this allows us to manage everyone and make sure they all enjoy their camp experience. We will post here just as we have openings. Thank you!

We were shocked and devastated to learn that heaven gained another angel, when Ilsa, our Greater Swiss Mountain Dog puppy, passed away last Sunday. Today she would have turned just 8 months old.

Ilsa was such a wonderful girl and we were all looking forward to watching her grow up. She had so many friends here and loved to play. She loved her lunchtime, and all the snuggles and attention she received while she was here. She made us laugh and smile all day long. I couldn’t fit her in my lap anymore, but her head was at the perfect level for petting, as she had gotten so tall!

She will be missed dearly by all of her friends, and especially our staff. We are all heartbroken, as she captured our hearts in the short time she was here. We thank her family so much for sharing this sweet beautiful girl with us, and send lots of loving thoughts their way.

Warm weather has us all dreaming of spring and sunshine and the pool…or just barking at the hose!

Our day camp is currently full and we are not able to accept new clients at this time. We will post if and when any new spots open up.

Please also understand that we may not be able to take dogs without reservations unless there is a cancellation on that day.

This makes it especially important for those with standing reservations to let us know if you will need to skip a day that is reserved. We do our best to accommodate everyone, and ask that our clients extend the same courtesy of letting us know if they aren’t able to make a reservation.

As a reminder, we do cancel standing reservations after 3 no call no shows and open that spot up for another dog to come.
