Sage is a great dog! She has the potential to have a full and active life in the right environment. If you know anything about our agency, you know that we don't advocate an outdoor life, but in some instances, it is the best option. While she is back in a kenneled environment at the moment, we hope that we will be able to place her soon so that all of her previous training and care does not deteriorate. Please help share her post to help find her find the right place to call home! 🏠❤🐾

Hi! My name is Dobby. I am about 6 months old, and we think my parents were probably a chihuahua and pug. I am one of the most loyal, loving pups you’ll ever meet, hence the namesake to Dobby from Harry Potter.
I had a rough beginning with someone leaving me to fend for myself around Thanksgiving. Neighbors saw and tried to help me – they gave me food and water but couldn’t catch me for days. I was waiting for my family to return for me and didn’t want to be gone when they did. However, my family never came and so some nice people down the street found me and I have been living the good life ever since. I am learning to trust people again and have lots of love to give.
Although I am just a puppy, I am not super-energetic. I like to play for a few minutes and then want to be near you or curl up with you. One of my favorite things is to watch TV with you. I also love playing with toys, but don’t tear them up and I don’t chew on things. I am getting the hang of going potty outside but am not perfect about it. I am really smart too! I am learning to sit and stay.
If I choose you to be my furever family, I need you to know that you are really big and I am really small and that causes me to be nervous when you have big fast movements. You will need to be gentle and patient with me, but then I will love you like no one else can. I will be the most loyal companion you will ever meet.

Please secure your dogs tonight in the house , a fence will not contain a frantic dog . If possible stay home with your pets . Crate your dog in the house if necessary . Bring kitties in if possible . Be respectful of our veterans and others … stay safe .

Olivia came to us when her home was destroyed by a fire. She is a very active senior who loves people and is fine with other dogs after a while, but she likes to be in charge. She walks great on a leash. Olivia is part of our GrandPaws program, since she is over the age of 7, which means her adoption fee is at a reduced cost.

Chico is a 5-month-old pup with a fantastic personality. He loves toys, other dogs and people. He suffered a fracture of his right leg at only 3 months old but had surgery to stabilize; the wire has been removed and he has no residual effects. Chico would make a great little companion!
