One of the other best parts of pet sitting is that many of my long-time clients have also developed a relationship with my dog, Luna. Here she is with her friend, Harley, who is one-half of the doodle-duo we’ll see more often now that school is back in session.
Apologies for being MIA on social media lately, but we’ve been BUSY 😅. Over the past couple of months, we've gained so many new dog and cat clients, and we’re gearing up for a jam-packed September.
I’ll pop back in here occasionally (hopefully more often) to share the best part about being a pet sitter: my adorable clients! Like Katsu, the , for example 😍.

We had some recent cancellations that freed up a big chunk of July and some days in September, so we’re looking to get that booked back up fast! August is almost entirely open as well! Please help us narrow down dates for our own getaways by requesting yours now 😂🙌🏻

Hey everyone! 👋🏻 Just popping in for a quick update: we are now fully booked for house-sitting stays this month!
We are still available to accommodate other services during June, including dog walks, cat check-ins, and hourly care for any pet!
📆🐾 We’ll be posting the calendars for July, August, and September on our socials tomorrow, which will reflect our overnight availability open to book for the coming months.

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: FOZZY! 🐾
This handsome labradoodle is named Fozzy (aka Foz), and we’ve been taking him on walks since fall of 2022! I call him Fozzy-Wozzy and have made up his very own version of the infamous nursery rhyme that I sing to him while we wander the neighborhood.
He just might be the most couch potato dog I know 😂. When I come in for his walks, he is ALWAYS curled up and relaxing on his couch. We have several stages to the process of transferring from couch mode to walk mode, and I can honestly say I have never been annoyed or frustrated because it’s just too hilarious how much he drags it out. Don’t be fooled, though - Fozzy loves our walks, especially stopping for sniff breaks with Luna when she joins us.

We love hanging out with this meowy boy when his doggie roommates are away with the humans. And who wouldn’t end up enamored over those green eyes?!
CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: SUNNY 😻
Sunny is the best kitty client! He’s one of the few cats that will take meds orally with no protest, and I am beyond grateful 😆 He and his sister have been a part of Free Treats for well over a year now (you can catch a glimpse of Cassie earlier in our feed 🥰).
When I walk in for their visits, Sunny is usually a roly-poly on his owner’s piano bench, which he has claimed as his own. He’s a massive fan of the rainbow ribbon, just like Cassie, but he’d much rather be silly on the cat tree while I tell him he’s a big, handsome kitty boy 😂 Lately, all he wants is to purr at my side while I give him pets 🥹 I’m happy to oblige.

Welcome to the pack, Archie! 🙌🏻
We started walking Archie last month, and we were even able to take him on a little adventure to trek some trails. He’s a neighbor to one of our other dog walking clients, so it was only a matter of time before Archie joined our crew! We’re glad to have him ❤️

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: HOOT 🐾❤️
Hoot is a Mini Aussie who came to Free Treats thanks to a referral from one of our other client’s owner. She has been in our lives since February and we’ve had the pleasure of walking her weekly as well as spending some nights at her place.
Hoot is a weird one, as most wiggle-butts tend to be. She HATES getting leashed up, but as soon as we’re off, she’s the happiest explorer with her nose to the ground searching for the best smells. And ball is LIFE for this little lady. We’re still working on bringing it back though 😂
My favorite part about hanging out with Hoot has been watching her grow more comfortable with me. She used to shy away if I offered my hand for pets, but now she comes right to me and plop down for belly rubs. She won’t move until she feels she’s received her fill either 🥹

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: ROCKO! 🐾
Rocko has been a part of Free Treats before we were officially a business! I feel so lucky to have known this man since he was newly adopted. Fun fact: his original name was Apple - I think Rocko suits him much better.
He’s the most polite short long boy you’ll ever meet and his tail wags at lightning speed over any interaction. When you walk in the door, he greats you in full body wiggles with a toy in his mouth. And don’t get me started on his displays of excitement over treats 😆 He’s met SO many of our other clients and gets along with all of them, big and small.
