Breed: Chihuahua mix

Favorite Activity: Fetch (Ball is life), fighting her arch nemesis (the stuffed goose), being completely buried in blankets
Underlying medical conditions: None, she's been perfect since almost dying from double penny ingestion (PSA on zinc toxicity!!)
Good patient?: Not good, not bad, but absolutely pathetic patient. Very wimpy gal.

Name: Cosby Clownshoe (accidentally named after Bill Cosby before the whole Bill Cosby thing came out - name was Billy at the shelter and he looks like he's wearing an ugly sweater)

Favorite Activity: chasing squirrel buddy (his only friend), policing his brothers and sisters
Underlying medical conditions: severe anxiety! He can banshee scream with the best of them
Good patient: absolutely not, loves his trazadone!

Valentine’s Day is coming! Make sure to be careful when buying flowers for your loved ones. Cats LOVE to eat plants they’re not supposed to, some of which are toxic!

Can you guess what type of ear infection this is?

If your pet’s shaking its head or scratching by their ears, you notice an odor coming from them or they look red or irritated they could have an ear infection!

To diagnose them, we take a swab of their ears to look under the microscope to test what kind of infection they have so we can treat accordingly.

Ear infections are certainly uncomfortable and can be painful for your pet. Nobody wants to wait if you can’t get in with your regular veterinarian.
