Five month old Truffle working on obedience foundations of retrieving, come to front with guides, hind end awareness, orbit (going around object and coming back), backing up rear feet onto platform, position changes, and heeling starts with attention.
Truffle is still looking for his people. He has a lot of competition obedience foundation training on him, so I would love to see him go to a home that would like to pursue that. But I’m more concerned with him finding the best home, to spoil him than anything else.
Cannoli relaxing through his MANi-pedi 😴
Truffle and Cannoli met with their sister Riot, and Riot’s big sisters to play yesterday! Truffle might as well have been a fish in his past life.
Front door manners are super important - it’s good to teach some degree of them, at least to the point your dogs won’t immediately bolt when the door is opened. But it’s very important to be conscientious of safety while you’re teaching it too. Here’s what I did with two puppies 😂.
Truffle helping Cannoli pull out that loose baby tooth 😂😂😂. That’s what brothers are good for, right? 😂😂😂
The puppies got to practice recalls! First separately, then together. They are their own biggest distractions when they are together 😆.
Halloween is almost here, so the kids deciding to dress up was a great socialization opportunity for the puppies. They thought this was the greatest thing 😂😂😂
