Hello!
Welcome to AMD Dressage!
My foundation is in eventing and I competed on a variety of horses for over 8 years in that discipline, eventually producing a horse on my own to the upper levels. I have worked for top event trainers in Washington and California. I then transitioned to Dressage. I trained young horses in Germany for Paul Schockemohle, and spent a season as a working student for two dressage professionals in Wellington, Florida, where I was able to groom at the top level and ride 3 year olds up to Grand Prix dressage horses. I also worked in Washington and Tennessee as a hunter/jumper trainer. I work with young horses primarily, but also have experience working with off the track thoroughbreds and transitioning them into new careers. My basis is in the German dressage training methodologies with a emphasis on biomechanics. Although my foundation is in dressage, I also train hunter jumper and eventing horses and riders of all levels. I offer a positive, stress-free approach to training and cater my program to the horses and rider’s individual needs to help them be the most successful.
I am currently accepting new students of all levels into my program as well as training horses. I do also have spaces available in my consignment program and offer affordable options and programs.
