Thank you so much to everyone who has supported my shop over the past almost three years! I can't even start to describe how grateful and happy I am to have been a part of this wonderful neighborhood and for all the friends I've made 💜 It's crazy to look at all my past photos of the time I've spent in this store, which really felt like home to me and Bowie. These photos have an especially bittersweet feeling to me seeing how Bowie has grayed and how the storefront bloomed with color thanks to .yikes 🌼 I hope we get to run into you all around the neighborhood! Bowie ( .the.tijuana.grey ) and I are always around Foster if you see us say hi!! 😁

Hey Everyone, I have to share some news - The Headstrong Hound is closing its doors at the end of the year.
Running this place has been such a rewarding journey, and I can't thank you all enough for being a part of it! From the adorable events to the fun conversations we've shared, its really made a huge impact on me 💜
Your support, whether it was stopping by for pet supplies or just popping in for a chat, has been incredible. You've made this journey unforgettable. 🐾
While this chapter is coming to an end, my passion for animals and the friendships we've built will continue. I can't wait to see what the future holds, and I definitely plan to be present in this community so you haven't seen the last of us!
Thank you for making this pet store such a special place 🐶🐱

Dog stuff swap! 10/3 3-7pm

Bring your clean, gently used dog stuff to swap with your fellow pet parents!

🦴Coats, sweaters, rain jackets, gently used toys, leashes, collars, harnesses, bandanas, p**p bag holders, bowls, etc.
🦴Clean all items well before you bring them
🦴have at least 10 items to swap, but be mindful of how much you bring too so that everyone has room
🦴Message the store on Instagram if you plan to swap so i can plan ☺️

June Hound Hangout! This time the event will focus on our adorable neighborhood's local pet services! These wonderful people are our neighbors here on Foster and provide services a lot of us pet owners may find helpful!
is a fantastic local dog walker and pet sitter who will have give away prizes for the first few that book services during the event ⭐
will be there teaching some Foundational Canine Mobility Exercises, plus they'll have an obstacle course to try out ⭐
will be there to educate the neighborhood on her dog training services offered in person, online, and in groups ⭐
I'll also be showcasing the shops new self wash, nail trim services, and other walk in grooming services that may be coming in the future ⭐
Dog popsicle with every purchase that day! 🧊 Plus a raffle!
🐾 will be leading the a pack walk from the shop around Foster at about 4:30pm! 🐾

I'm so in love with my new counter from 💗✨
Although my old counter was great it was definitely time for an upgrade! Thanks to IDA program and the amazing building skills of Oregon Made PDX I have this adorable and functional counter!!!
