Pets get a few amenities on the Hannah plan, including complimentary tummy rubs. They can roll over to receive up to infinity tummy rubs per year. Any unused rubs also roll over.

We hung out with Louie yesterday in Portland and before he left he made us promise to wish our social followers a happy Friday on his behalf. He’d have don’t it but he doesn’t know our passwords. Plus, he doesn’t know how to read or type. Happy to help!

Recently one of our favorite surrendered Pets, Kitty, passed away. The team in Portland loved Kitty so much that they chipped in to get back their ashes, which now sit on loving display in our medical department.

We take the pain home with us as much as we take the joy. Know that if you had a Hannah Pet that died, someone here still misses them. Guaranteed. RIP Kitty, you were a stinky little angel. ❤️

We don’t often get to share photos like this — social media is for cute puppies and positive affirmations, right? — but the reality of our jobs is that even the normal, everyday things we see as Hannah employees can take a toll on our hearts. We’re animal lovers and advocates first and foremost, and seeing a like 13-year old Trixie under anesthesia for a dental appointment can be hard.

What I want to say is that we love your Pets like they’re our own, and we’re down in the trenches with them every day to make sure they’re as healthy and as happy as possible. We’re a business, but the people who work here aren’t. Please know that we will sprout wings and fly over Portland before we meet a Pet we “don’t care about,” and that for better or worse, we’re just like you, but in scrubs.

Trixie did great, by the way. She’s like a child to me, and I’m proud to trust her health and safety to the passionate, caring, often-overwhelmed guys, gals, and nonbinary pals on my team. 🐱

"Our 12 yr old mini schnauzer was attacked by a coyote. She suffered a small 3/4 inch laceration on her neck which wasn't very deep. We called ahead and since we live in Washougal, the Ptld facility took us right in, no waiting, It was decided the injury just needed cleaning and medication. She was given antibiotics and a Rabies shot even though she was up to date on her shots. Hannah personnel were fantastic, took her.." says Sandi on Google
