Hey Friends! I'm going to start closing on Wednesdays for pick up/drop off. I will still be caring for pets on Wednesdays, just not picking up/dropping off. All current reservations will be grandfathered in, but future stays will no longer offer transportation or pick up/drop off at the farm on Wednesdays. Please let me know if you have any questions!

55 Flowery Hens are a very rare breed of chicken that was developed in 1955 by Martin Silverrudd in Sweden. They’re an autosexing breed, meaning you can tell male from female chicks at hatch. They are excellent producers of large to XL white eggs. Their smaller body size makes their feed to egg ratio much better than larger-bodied chickens. They’re an active breed that are suitable for free-ranging. Hens are “flowery” - their plumage is speckled like flowers. Males are white with flecks of silver and gold. Both have large single combs.
