Team,
I got a tough one tonight. I just received word that Simon is no longer with us. We lovedl that dog like our own. He was high energy as a young dog and changed my perspective on the word “skittish”. He just had hyperkinesis in his ability to be in new places with new people. To see him lose that over time took team work and consistency being there for him. We will never forget him or that.
Simon says, “Let’s go!” He would practically say as we walked through his door to leash him up for years.
I got to see him several times in the neighborhood of Goose Hollow since Will started working from home when the pandemic hit in full force. My heart will always have a special spot for Simon because he overcame a puppy mill to be live his best life with the best parents possible for him. Will & Jeff gave him that life. Damn we’ll miss him but he left us with a treasure trove of memories. Thank you Will & Jeff! You were his best people and you led him to live his best life! Friends for life!
RIP Simon!
